Hallmark fan favorite Sarah Drew is reaching out to fans with a little challenge. It’s not hard or time-consuming, but it is very close to Drew’s heart.
Sarah Drew Wants Fans to Join Her Challenge
In a social media post, Drew got real about being kind to people and how much it means to her. Drew has teamed up with her “Jimmy” co-stars for an act of kindness challenge, and she wants her fans to get in on the action, too.
“Hi, friends. I am a big believer in kindness. I think acts of kindness, even tiny little acts of kindness, can completely transform someone’s day. So I have decided to join the 250 Million Acts of Kindness Challenge with Good Neighbor Day America. It’s so fun,” she expressed.
The “Mistletoe Murders” star shared a link in her Instagram Stories and caption to reveal that the Good Neighbor Day Challenge is exactly what it sounds like. Drew and others are helping the organization achieve 250 million acts of kindness in everyday life until the middle of May.
Drew shared that acts of kindness can be big or small, just something that shows kindness to one another. Entering the challenge is simple. All anyone interested in participating has to do is join the challenge on the Good Neighbor Day Challenge website, then do or share something kind while tagging the website.
Beloved Actor Jimmy Stewart Helped Inspire Sarah Drew’s Kindness Challenge
The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum spilled that being part of the “Jimmy” movie inspired her to take part in the challenge, especially since kindness is extremely important to Drew.
“I play Hedda Hopper in the new movie, Jimmy, which comes out November 6th this year. And like Jimmy Stewart, I believe that kindness changes everything. He was a huge believer in kindness, and I am too. So my friends with Jimmy are also jumping in on this challenge. It’s super, super fun,” she expressed, adding, “Let’s get out there and be kind.”
“Jimmy” is a biographical film about beloved Hollywood icon Jimmy Stewart and his legacy. “Riverdale” star KJ Apa plays Stewart, leading an all-star cast in the movie.
Along with Drew and Apa, the film also stars Neal McDonough as Stewart’s father, Alexander Stewart, while Hallmark fan favorite Jen Lilley plays Stewart’s wife, Gloria Stewart.
Jemma Donovan stars as Ginger Rogers, “Seinfeld” star Jason Alexander plays Louis B. Mayer, Christopher McDonald stars as Lionel Barrymore, and “Chicago Fire” alum Kara Killmer plays Lady Julia.
“Jimmy” will be released in theaters on November 6.
