Yep, the return of James and Oliver Phelps is certainly something fans can look forward to. The brothers have been a big part of what makes the series so much fun. They played Fred and George Weasley in the original “Harry Potter” movies.
But Season 3 won’t simply be more of the same.
In the video, the hosts revealed that this season “the game has changed as we’ve conjured up a special Wizards of Baking tournament.” They also explained that “each episode will pay tribute to a Harry Potter film” in celebration of “25 years of movie magic.”
That’s a pretty fitting way to celebrate such a huge milestone for the franchise.
An exact premiere date hasn’t been revealed yet. But the Phelps brothers did give fans an idea of when they can expect the new episodes.
“We’ll see you all this holiday season. And let the baking begin!”
So, it seems like fans can officially add “Wizards of Baking” Season 3 to their holiday TV watch lists.
Season 1 & Season 2 Were a Big Hit
The first two seasons gave viewers plenty of impressive magical-themed creations to admire. And Season 3 looks ready to take things even further.
In Season 1, Zoë Burmester and Jordan Pilarski won the competition after presenting a massive edible Great Hall celebration piece. Then, in Season 2, Jenny Chambers and Alex Madrigal took the win with their edible diorama of the Yule Ball.
Let’s be real, those will be some pretty difficult acts to follow.
Still, fans seem more than ready to see what the newest competitors will create. Especially with each episode paying tribute to one of the “Harry Potter” movies.
