Beloved actor and star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Paul Rudd, has been chatting about his seemingly ageless appearance.
Rudd famously looks considerably younger than his date of birth suggests. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, on April 6, 1969, Rudd is in fact 57. He could, however, comfortably pass for a man 20 years younger.
Jokes about him being a vampire or having some kind of mystical eternal youth are commonplace. Of course, it’s also led to speculation that he’s gone under the knife or is using some kind of cosmetic product to retain his youthful looks — as a lot of stars in Hollywood do and have always done.
Botox is one such product Rudd has been suspected of using. However, the star is adamant that he’s never used it. Moreover, he has confirmed that he is, in fact, aging like everyone else.
The Youthful Paul Rudd Insists ‘I Most Certainly Age’
GettyPaul Rudd was chatting about the way he looks with host Jake Shane on the “Therapuss” podcast in the “Session 123” episode on Thursday, May 28.
The topic of aging quickly popped up, when Shane asked Rudd, “Are you vegan?”
Rudd answered that he wasn’t, which prompted Shane to ask, “So then why don’t you age?”
The actor then responded, “I do. You’re kind for saying that, but I really do.”
Shane then asked in the most forthright manner possible whether or not Rudd had ever used Botox.
Rudd answered that one, “No. Look at my face,” before moving his eyebrows around in a way that those who have had Botox are infamously unable to do.
They’re the type of questions Rudd is very much used to answering. In 2019, per Allure, during a panel at the C2E2 Comic Con in Chicago, Illinois, he was asked by film writer Danielle Solzman what he does to keep his youthful appearance. He replied jokingly by pointing to his chest and saying, “I’m 80 years old on the inside,” before adding, “In here, pure darkness — and a little moisturizer.”
Rudd Is Enjoying a Busy 2026

The in-demand star has already seen his musical comedy-drama movie “Power Ballad” released today. In that one, he plays Rick. Other actors in the movie include Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu, and Jack Reynor.
According to IMDb, the plot is as follows: “Rick, a washed-up wedding singer, and Danny, a fading boy band star, bond over music and a late-night jam session. When Danny turns Rick’s song into a hit, Rick sets out to reclaim the recognition he believes he deserves.”
Other movies he has coming out this year are the drama movie “Rain Reign” and the epic Marvel superhero flick “Avengers: Doomsday.” At some point in the near future, he’s also set to star in an untitled Tom McCarthy comedy-drama movie (per IMDb).
