Marvel star Sebastian Stan and actress Annabelle Wallis are preparing for a major new chapter.
The couple is expecting their first child together, according to TMZ. While details about the baby’s due date and gender have not been publicly revealed, the news marks a big milestone for the actors, who have reportedly been together for about four years.
Representatives for both Stan and Wallis have not publicly commented on the pregnancy, per TMZ. Still, the announcement comes during a busy time for both stars as they continue to balance growing careers in Hollywood.
Stan, who is widely known for playing Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has several projects on the horizon. He is set to appear in the upcoming film “Fjord” as well as the highly anticipated Marvel installment “Avengers: Doomsday.”
Wallis is also keeping busy with multiple upcoming roles. The actress will star alongside Jason Statham in the action movie “Mutiny,” which is expected to hit theaters in August. She is also set to appear in Netflix’s “Unabomb,” a project centered on Ted Kaczynski.
A Relationship That Stayed Mostly Private
Stan and Wallis were first linked romantically in May 2022, when they were spotted together at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party in New York City, according to Us Weekly. A photo from the event appeared to show the two sharing a close moment, sparking speculation about their relationship.
Later that summer, Wallis joined Stan and friends on a trip to Greece as he celebrated his 40th birthday.
For the next several years, the couple largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. They were occasionally seen together in public but avoided discussing their romance in interviews or sharing much about it on social media.
Stan later explained that maintaining privacy in his personal life is important to him. In an April 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, he said it has become increasingly difficult to keep parts of life private in the public eye.
“I feel like it’s really difficult nowadays to be able to have any privacy whatsoever,” Stan said, adding that his relationship is one part of his life he tries to keep somewhat for himself.
Going Public at Major Events
Although the pair kept their relationship low-key for several years, they began appearing together more publicly in 2024 and 2025.
Their red carpet debut came at the 2025 Golden Globes, where Stan won Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his role in “A Different Man.” During his acceptance speech, he gave Wallis a heartfelt shoutout from the stage.
“Annabelle, I love you,” Stan said.
Wallis continued to support Stan during major career milestones throughout the year. She joined him at the EE BAFTA Film Awards and later attended the 2025 Academy Awards, where Stan was nominated for Best Actor for “The Apprentice,” per Us Weekly.
The couple also walked the red carpet together at the Academy Museum Gala in 2025 and have occasionally been spotted on vacations and outings together.
While they have chosen to keep much of their relationship private, the two have occasionally shared glimpses of their bond during major moments.
