In the family photos, Farley channels O’Hara’s dramatic Moira Rose, while her fiancé, Zack Clayton Carpinello, mirrors Johnny Rose’s classic tux. Farley’s daughter, Meilani, rocks Alexis Rose’s whimsical dress and floppy hat, and son Greyson nails David Rose’s iconic look.

The world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of actress Catherine O’Hara, who passed away “after a brief illness” on Jan. 30, her representatives confirmed to People. Even those who never worked closely with the “Home Alone” star are feeling the impact, including “Jersey Shore” star Jenni Farley, who shared that O’Hara’s films helped her “through some tough times.”
Farley’s heartfelt tribute on Instagram featured her family dressed as beloved characters from “Schitt’s Creek,” with Farley nailing O’Hara’s character, Moira Rose.
Her caption read, “My heart is truly broken. Catherine O’Hara was my favorite actor, and Moira Rose was my favorite character of all time.”
“She gave us laughter, brilliance, and a character that felt larger than life yet deeply human. I had the craziest parasocial relationship with her because she was my whole childhood… Moira got me through some tough times…”
Farley then shared two iconic quotes from O’Hara’s “Schitt’s Creek” character, “What you did was impulsive, capricious, and melodramatic. But it was also wrong.”
“Be careful, John, lest you suffer vertigo from the dizzying heights of your moral ground,” she also shared.
Farley concluded her caption with, “Here’s a throwback to Halloween 2021, when we dressed up as Schitt’s Creek… Moira Rose will live forever, and so will the legacy Catherine O’Hara left behind. Rest peacefully. 🖤🌹”
O’Hara’s ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Cast Pay Tribute

“The unmitigated good fortune of sharing space and work and laughter with the brilliance that was Catherine O’Hara is something that I will treasure forever,” Robinson told USA Today.
“I am heartbroken for her family and all circles of her friends and loved ones. Oh Canada – what a loss. Thank you, Catherine, for everything you gave us before you left us. So much and so timeless that a part of you will always stay with us,” she added.
Actress Jennifer Robertson, who portrayed Jocelyn Schitt, also shared a message with the outlet, “I am deeply saddened to hear we have lost Catherine. Being in Catherine O’Hara’s orbit was a beautiful, magical gift.”
Robertson continued, “She was absolute star who never understood why people made such a fuss about her. Her passing is a loss for everyone who knew and loved her. My deepest condolences to Bo, her sons, and the O’Hara family.”
