It has been quite the ride for the cast of Jersey Shore, who have shared their lives for many years on MTV. However, that chapter is set to close.
“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” will be ending after this season on MTV, which is set to premiere on May 7 and will run for 18 episodes.
“This farewell season marks the culmination of a franchise that entertained millions with major life milestones, laugh-out-loud chaos, and the unfiltered chemistry that defined an era of reality television,” the press release details.
“Jersey Shore” graced screens for the first time in 2009 and ran until 2012 for six total seasons. Then, in 2018, cameras picked back up, following the cast in a new spinoff called, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”
However, There Is Some Good News….
While MTV is calling it quits on this iconic show, it seems the cast members aren’t planning to stop anytime soon.
According to TMZ, the cast says the show will continue; they just need to find a new home.
Angelina Pivarnick, Deena Cortese, DJ Pauly D, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola , and Vinny Guadagnino won’t be going anywhere!
What To Expect During The Final Season Of ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’
MTV is going all out to make sure the final season is one of the best, as they tease a bunch of “fist-pump-worthy milestones and unforgettable moments.”
And with that, the press release provided individual details for each cast member. Starting with Angelina, she will go on “a full emotional roller coaster, packed with extreme highs, devastating lows, and nonstop twists.” As for Deena, she is the PTA President, doing what she can to give back, including “organizing charity events and supporting her friends.” DJ Pauly D’s empire gets bigger and bigger as he is “launching his own record label,” and of course, there’s his relationship with Nikki that “continues to blossom.” Jenni (aka JWOWW) turns 40 and “steps into full director mode, directing her second movie.” Mike (aka The Situation) goes back to his fitness journey while celebrating “10 years sober, and opens a rehab center.” Nicole (aka Snooki) is a cheer mom, who, as always, is the “life of the party.” Ronnie returns to the show after a hiatus where he opens up about “his struggles as he looks to work through them.” Sammi’s embracing the next chapter of her life – becoming a mom. And lastly, Vinny’s comedy career continues to grow as he is “selling out shows and taking his set on tour, organizing and hosting a celebratory Roast for the family.”
