‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Mourns Death of Beloved Crew Member

“Jersey Shore” is mourning a tragic loss.

Jorge Bouza, an audio mixer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, has passed away, 495 Productions announced on Instagram.

Jorge Bouza Is Remembered as a ‘True Friend’

“We are heartbroken by the loss of a beloved, longtime member of our 495 family, Jorge Bouza,” the production company wrote on Instagram. “He was more than an audio mixer; he was a true friend to every member of the cast and crew. Jorge always took the time to share a big smile, clue a young producer into the story (no surprise, he heard everything!), or offer a much-needed Cuban coffee to anyone running on fumes.”

“We are sending love to his wonderful family and to all who had the privilege of working alongside him,” they continued. “You will be deeply missed, Jorge ❤️” ️

The post also pointed people in the direction of a GoFundMe, asking for help “to help ease the financial burden on his children and family.” It added that Bouza had cancer which had “progressed aggressively, and his liver cancer has now metastasized.” With that, his family shifted “their focus to keeping him comfortable, supported, and surrounded by love during this time.”

“Many of you know Jorge as a lifelong storyteller,” the GoFundMe stated. “He spent decades behind the camera—traveling to war zones, covering local news, and even chasing down Snooki on the boardwalk—always committed to documenting life as it unfolded. He helped capture memories for so many, and now we’re doing everything we can to support him through this final chapter of his own story.”

“Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. It means more than you know,” they concluded.
