“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star Nicole Polizzi shared a rare family photo on Instagram, and fans were thrilled at the intimate social media snapshot.
The MTV superstar, who keeps her marriage out of the public eye, shared the surprising new image. Fans responded quickly to the picture.
Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi Shared a Proud Mama Moment
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her husband Jionni LaValle were photographed alongside their oldest child, son Lorenzo, at a wrestling team event. The 13-year-old stood alongside his parents, showing off an award for his hard work.
Polizzi captioned her photo, “So proud of you placing 8th in the states today.” A second photo showed Lorenzo alone, standing in front of a green screen and wearing his medal.
Fans shared their praise for his accomplishments in the post’s comments section.
One fan wrote, “Congratulations! This makes me happy to see you guys become part of the wrestling community. I promise you, it’s so rewarding in more ways than one.” Polizzi responded, “He had no choice he grew up in a wrestling family lol.”
Another Instagram user added, “Amazing accomplishment.” A third commented, “Congratulations, champ. Keep working hard on the mats and in the classroom, buddy. God bless your journey. Great job Mom and Dad.”
Nicole Polizzi and Jionni LaValle Have Been Married Over a Decade
Nicole Polizzi and Jionni LaValle met on Season 3 of the original “Jersey Shore” series on MTV.
The first couple connected in 2010 and were officially dating by the time Season 4 filmed in Florence, Italy. It was memorable for the couple’s tumultuous fight, leading to LaValle’s quick exit from the country.
By March 2012, the couple were engaged and expecting their first child together, reported Us Weekly. Additionally, Polizzi and LaValle remained a couple throughout Season 5. By the original series final season, she was heavily pregnant with Lorenzo, who was born in August of that same year.
In September 2014, the couple welcomed their second child, a girl named Giovanna. They tied the knot in a Great Gatsby-themed wedding that November. Furthermore, in May 2019, the couple welcomed their third and final child, Angelo.
LaValle prefers to stay out of the spotlight. He doesn’t attend events connected to “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
The reality star told OK! in October 2025 that she was okay with her husband preferring to remain a private person. “It’s nice because we have a private life. It’s not like everything is on TV, even though I wouldn’t mind it, but we have our own privacy, and not everything is shown.”
She continued, “I love showing me as a mom and all that stuff and my businesses. Maybe one day he will come on to do a quick check-in and be like, ‘Hey, I’m alive!'”
Polizzi concluded, “He lets me film and do my thing. He’s a great dad, and he’s home with the kids, so it worked out.”
The couple stood strong against Polizzi’s cancer diagnosis in February 2026. She continues to film the MTV series, which will be leaving the network after this final season.
