Britney Spears’ 1st Husband Jason Alexander Defends Her from ‘Media Circus’ in POWERFUL Statement

Britney Spears‘ first husband Jason Alexander, a childhood friend to whom she was briefly married in 2004, is speaking out in her defense after the media frenzy that followed Thursday’s news that the pop princess had been cited for a DUI while driving in Ventura County, California Wednesday evening.

The next day, Page Six reported her sons Jayden and Sean Preston now live “close by” and are planning to spend time with the star.

In a lengthy Instagram message, Alexander declared Britney deserves “fairness and due process – not headlines built on speculation.” He implored the public to “let the facts come out before turning someone’s life into another media circus.”

The full statement reads:

“Everyone needs to slow down with the headlines about Britney Spears.

If reports are accurate that she blew a .06, that’s below the legal limit in most states. And if the only substances in her system were legally prescribed medications, that changes the narrative completely.

At most, what’s being discussed right now could potentially amount to minor misdemeanor charges — things like reckless driving or simple possession if a substance was found in the car. But the internet has already jumped straight to “drunk driving,” “rehab,” and all kinds of speculation that hasn’t been proven.

This is exactly how media narratives spiral out of control. Rumors spread faster than facts, and suddenly someone is being judged before the truth is even clear.

Britney Spears deserves the same thing anyone else does: facts, fairness, and due process — not headlines built on speculation.

Let the facts come out before turning someone’s life into another media circus.”

Jason Alexander Assured Fans Britney Is Alive & Not ‘Replaced by a Clone’

Shortly posting his supportive message for Britney, Alexander added more information in the comment section. He wrote:

“I appreciate the support and most of the comments here. But the idea that Britney is dead or replaced by a clone is honestly one of the most ridiculous things I see online.

Yes, cloning exists in science, but the idea that there are full-grown human clones walking around pretending to be celebrities or politicians just isn’t reality. There’s zero real evidence of that happening anywhere.

The simple truth is she’s alive, she communicates with people in her life, and her family and those close to her know that. When people push these kinds of ideas, it just distracts from the actual reality of what’s going on and from using basic common sense to look at the facts.

Sometimes the most obvious explanation is the real one. Let’s keep things grounded in reality.”
