Whether you know Fergie from The Black Eyed Peas or from her solo music, you’re probably aware of the fact that she hasn’t performed in quite a whilte — seven years, to be exact. However, that changed over the weekend when she stepped out on stage with none other than Ludacris.
The beloved singer joined the iconic rapper for Atlanta’s One Music Fest which was celebrating 25 years of Ludacris, “whose debut album, Incognegro, was released in 1999,” per Parade.
The festival took to Instagram to mark the moment, writing, “We told y’all history would be made at #OMF2025! @ludacris brought out the one and only #Fergie for his 25th anniversary at #ONEMusicfest! 🔥🔥🔥.”
Showing Fergie performing her 2006 hit, “London Bridge,” fans were thrilled with what they saw.
Fans Think Fergie Is ‘Definitely Still That Girl!!’
There’s no doubt that Fergie’s fans were thrilled to see her back on stage and taking on one of her popular hits. In fact, they thought her performance was just as good as one she might have delivered before she stepped away from the stage.
“Fergie is back,” one person wrote.
“Fergie looks AMAZING!!!!! 🔥🔥😍😍😍🔥🔥,” another person noted.
Another fan left a comment, saying, “Mannnnn people just don’t know how iconic Fergie’s solo era was lol.”
“She was so good! 🔥🔥🔥,” a third person wrote.
Yet another person added, “The fact that she came out from retirement shows how much of a legend Ludacris is. Put some respect on Luda’s name!”
Someone else added, “Fergie looks great she’s definitely still that girl!!”
The Black Eyed Peas Love & Support Fergie
Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty ImagesWhen Fergie left the Black Eyed Peas before releasing her second album, The Double Dutchess, she definitely didn’t burn any bridges. In fact, she had “love” from her former bandmates.
Indeed, Will.i.am told Billboard (via the Mirror), “We love her, and she’s focusing on being a mom. That’s a hard job, and that’s what she really wants to do and we’re here for her… It’s really the way Fergie designed it, so we’re respecting her design. We love Fergie, and we don’t want anything but awesomeness for her.”
In March 2018, Fergie spoke to People about how she finds balance in her life, saying, “I’m really trying to just spend time with my son. I’ve been so go, go, go for the last four years that I have not stopped. So just carve out a little bit more me time.”
