Former One Direction star Harry Styles shocked local Irish fans while traveling across the island nation this week, stopping to pose for photos with a group of excited fans who spotted the โWatermelon Sugarโ in the town of Naas in County Kildare.ย
Irish Fans Have Spotted Styles All Over the Country This Week
The snaps, posted to one lucky fanโs Snapchat story on Tuesday, August 12 with the caption, โLike, ladies, what the heck?โ have since gone viral across the Emerald Isle.
โOh my god, Iโm on the hunt for Harry now,โ wrote one fan on social media, while another added, โWhat do you mean heโs ten minutes away from me?โ
The viral photo is the latest to surface from the star this week as he journeyed to Ireland to with his close childhood friend, Jonny Harvey โ the same Jonny that Stylesโ name-dropped in his 2022 track โLove of My Life.โ
Earlier this week the pair posed for a photo in the scenic Wicklow Mountains, the famous Lough Tay, also known as Guinness Lake, acting as a backdrop for the snap.
Styles was similarly spotted aboard an Aer Lingus flight ahead of arriving in Ireland, posing for a photo with a group of the airlineโs flight attendants.
Since fans caught wind of news that Styles was vacationing in the country, sightings of the star have continued to crop up, including a video of the singer petting a dog outside a local pub in Dublin.
โWell, I didnโt expect to bump into this fella in Johnny Foxโs today,โ wrote the fan who captured the video online. โGreat to see Harry Styles enjoying a bit of Irish craic!โ
Why Is Harry Styles in Ireland?
While some fans have speculated that Harry travelled to Ireland to celebrate a friend’s wedding, these claims remain unconfirmed for now.
The recent trip marked Stylesโ latest return to the country following his 2023 concert performance at Slane Castle. The appearance followed the release of his third studio album as a solo artist, titled โHarryโs House.โ
Reportedly taking a break from his music career, Styles kept his latest summer vacation destination fairly low-key, though the Grammy-winner has similarly been spotted in Rome, Berlin and London over the last few months.
It remains to be seen if the singer will visit his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan while in Ireland. Native to Mullingar in County Westmeath, Horan is currently preparing for another season as a judge on โThe Voiceโ Season 28, alongside musicians like Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble.
The forthcoming season is currently in production, with Buble previously reporting that filming is going smoothly and on track to make its NBC debut on Monday, September 15, 2025.
