Lady Gaga is honoring her fiancé, Michael Polansky, with a heartfelt birthday tribute. On Monday, September 8, the 39-year-old pop star marked Polansky’s 42nd birthday by sharing a touching Instagram post filled with personal memories and a glimpse into their life together.
“Happy Birthday to my honey. I hope 42 is your best year yet, you have done so much in your 42 years I am so proud of you every day — and so grateful for this day you came into the world, it was the most special day,” she wrote.
Gaga added personal details about their celebrations, noting: “A crisp and almost rainy day, a long walk, with the backdrop of a sweet birthday smile and lots of laughter and angel food cake with chocolate sauce. Even this goat knows what a happy day your birthday is to me😊 I love you 💋.”
A Year of Career Highs & Personal Gratitude
Gaga’s tribute comes during a career-defining year. With a sold-out arena tour, four wins at the 2025 VMAs, and the success of her latest album, Mayhem, the singer made sure to credit Polansky for being a source of strength behind the scenes.
“Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you — talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined,” she shared.

Fans will soon have another chance to see Gaga live. The star announced new North American dates for The Mayhem Ball in early 2026, including encore shows in Los Angeles and New York.
