Renewed & Canceled TV Shows in June 2026

June brings a mix of good and bad news for TV fans, as networks and streaming platforms announce both renewals and cancellations of some shows.

While not as heavy as last month’s slate of updates, many still find the latest round of renewals and cancellations quite intriguing. Here’s a look at the TV shows that have been canceled and renewed so far this month, per TV Guide.

‘Devil May Cry’ (Netflix): Renewed

The popular animated series based on the hit video game has been renewed for its third and final season on Netflix.

The renewal comes on the heels of the release of “Devil May Cry” Season 2, which remains on Netflix’s Global Top 10 list.

“For those of you who have been paying attention to the episode names, I have been showing you the structure the entire time,” the show’s creator, Adi Shankar, explained (via Deadline). “This was always Dante’s Divine Comedy with guns and a red coat.”

Shankar continued, “Season 1 was Inferno. Season 2 was Purgatorio. Season 3 will be Paradiso. These three seasons make up ‘The Force Edge Saga.’ Since its inception, ‘The Force Edge Saga’ was designed as a movie trilogy disguised as a television series.”

“Devil May Cry” Season 1 reportedly accumulated 21.7 million views in 2025, while Season 2 gained 6.4 million views in just two weeks, according to Netflix.

‘The Marlow Murder Club’ (PBS): Renewed

“The Marlow Murder Club” has been renewed for a fourth season at Masterpiece PBS.

According to Deadline, the newest season of the British crime drama will be based on Robert Thorogood’s novel “Murder on the Marlow Belle,” along with new original mysteries.

Some of the returning cast include Samantha Bond, Cara Horgan, Jo Martin, and Natalie Dew.

Series regulars Holli Dempsey, Phill Langhorne, and Tijan Sarr are also set to return.

‘The Hunting Party’ (NBC): Canceled

NBC’s “The Hunting Party” is officially canceled after two seasons. Universal Television, the studio behind the crime drama, is expected to shop it to other outlets, per Deadline. One potential target is Netflix, where the series performed well.

Among the broadcast series from the 2025–26 season, “The Hunting Party” was the final show whose fate had not been determined. NBC held off on making a call until after the upfronts, giving executives additional time to assess the drama’s performance across both traditional broadcasts and streaming platforms.

NBCUniversal’s President of Program Planning Strategy, Jeff Bader, explained the decision to replace “The Hunting Party.”

“We’re looking for places where we can grow the network, and that is a time period where we think we can do better,” he told Deadline last month. “Nothing negative about ‘Hunting Party,’ but for our linear schedule, we absolutely need to try and do a little bit better there.”

Bader continued, “Honestly, we have a very, very tight schedule. Because we have a lot of sports, for our entertainment time periods, we had to actually give up on some shows that we really love to make room to launch our future potential hits. So we made room for four, we could have done with less, very hard for us to do more.”
