Shailene Woodley and Lucas Bravo have ended their six-month romance, according to People, with sources emphasizing that both stars are moving ahead with optimism and new opportunities on the horizon.
Shailene Woodley & Lucas Bravo’s Passionate Romance
The couple first sparked dating rumors in March when they were spotted together in Paris. By April, they made their relationship Instagram official, with Bravo sharing photos from a trip to Slab City, California. Woodley also posted a playful snapshot of Bravo at Disneyland’s Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge on May 4, in celebration of Star Wars Day.
Though those posts have since been deleted from their respective Instagrams, the relationship was marked by lighthearted moments and what a source described as “a breath of fresh air” for the “Big Little Lies” actress.
According to a source who spoke to People in August, Woodley was “thriving” during her time with Bravo, calling the French actor “uncomplicated, kind, not pretentious and emotionally present.” Friends of the actress reportedly loved the relationship, noting it brought a sense of fun and ease into her life.
“Her friends love him,” the source said, adding that the connection felt like “the total opposite of her dynamic with Aaron,” referring to Woodley’s ex-fiancé, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Woodley, 33, and Bravo, 37, were last photographed together on Aug. 4 in Paris, where the actress was seen snuggling up to him on the set of “Emily in Paris.”
Woodley & Bravo Look Ahead
Though their romance has ended, both stars continue to keep busy. Woodley, who recently premiered her film “Motor City” at the Venice International Film Festival on Aug. 30, has been exploring new projects and enjoying time with friends. Bravo remains focused on his role in “Emily in Paris,” where he has become a fan favorite for his portrayal of chef Gabriel.
Woodley, who has spoken openly about past heartbreak, appeared grateful for the time she shared with Bravo. A source noted that the relationship brought happiness and levity back into her life, saying she was “happy, light and having fun again.”
In addition to her relationship with Rodgers, the “Fault in Our Stars” actress has previously been linked to her “Divergent” costar Theo James, Fijian-Australian rugby player Ben Volavola, and musician Nahko Bear.
As both stars move forward, the former couple’s romance stands as a reminder that even short-lived relationships can bring positivity and lessons for the future.
