Fans React to Shocking Tribal Council & Elimination on ‘Survivor 50’ Tonight: ‘Best Episode Yet’

We had an amazing night on “Survivor 50.” With MrBeast making an appearance during the return of the “Survivor” Auction, he left a twist for the ages. The returning castaways on “Survivor” 2026 were left on edge, as they wouldn’t find out what the Super Beware Advantage was until Tribal Council. It turns out to be an epic night, so check out what the fans are saying about it below in our “Survivor” spoilers.

Tonight’s Big Twist

For tonight’s episode, Jeff Probst gave us the return of the auction. Each item was either comfort, chaos, or both. The castaways made it all the way through the auction, but the last item was a chance for them all to agree to pay $20 and get the item. It turned out to be letters from loved ones. However, it came with chaos and out came MrBeast.

He brought a briefcase with him, which had “Beware” written on the back. It was the Super Beware Advantage, which they would find out about at Tribal Council. It set all the castaways off heading into Tribal.

At Tribal, we learned that the advantage was a gold coin with heads and tails on it. One person would come up and flip that coin. If it lands on what they call, then they are safe for the night. In addition, they get an immunity idol, and the prize money goes up to $2 million thanks to MrBeast. If it didn’t land on what they called the prize money stays at $1 million, and the person is headed home.

Devens volunteered to do the coin flip. No one else stepped up, so he did it. He called heads, it landed on heads! He was safe, he got an idol, and now the prize money is $2 million. A vote took place after a Live Tribal, and Stephenie was eliminated, even after stealing a vote from Devens.

Fans React to Epic Night

After the drama-filled night, “Survivor” fans jumped on social media to give their feedback on the twists, MrBeast, and the “GOAT” Devens.

Many people did not like MrBeast appearing on the show before it aired. This person changed their mind, writing, “I was skeptical of this Mr. Beast episode despite loving him. I gotta say, one of the best episodes EVER! I cried, I laughed, I screamed! Amazing. Congrats @rick_devens on being the GOAT.”

Another person wrote, “This Mr Beast twist was epic. Congratulations to @rick_devens for winning immunity & increasing the prize winnings. The fans love Survivor ❤️,” while this person wrote, “you know what, as someone who doesn’t like mr beast he had a damn good idea for a twist. THAT’S HOW IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE DONE JIMMY FALLON,” and another added, “I think everyone owes @mrbeast an apology.”

There was plenty of love for Rick Devens. One fan wrote, “Rick. Freaking. Devens,” and another added, “Devens is a star!!!,” and a third fan wrote, “How I look at people that try to vilify @Rick_Devens just for having more fun than any player in history on #Survivor ever has. You leave my silly goose alone.”

Not All Love For the Twists

While there were plenty of people who loved the action from tonight’s episode, other fans of the show weren’t impressed.

This person wrote, “Coach, Chrissy, & Stephenie, 3 of my favorites this season, got majorly twistf***ed, Chrissy for the 2nd consecutive time.”

Another fan wrote, “This is the worst episode of @survivorcbs I have ever seen,” and this person added, “Stephenie is just not good at Survivor. It doesn’t matter if it was in 2005, 2010 or now.”
