Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth have spent nearly two decades building one of the most memorable bonds in “Survivor” history. While fans have been emotional after Ozzy’s blindside elimination on “Survivor 50” this week, it looks like Cirie is sharing some heartfelt words for her #1 ally this season. After the fan-favorite contestant was voted out with a hidden immunity idol still in his pocket, Cirie shared a heartfelt tribute celebrating not only Ozzy’s legendary gameplay, but also the friendship they built across multiple seasons together on “Survivor.”
Another Blindside Vote
During this past week’s episode, Jeff Probst gave the players another twist: the eight losing castaways from the Immunity Challenge would draw rocks to separate into two tribes of four. Each group would then go to Tribal Council and vote one player out. The winner of the Immunity Challenge (Jonathan) would go to both Tribal Councils and cast a vote at each.
Before the second Tribal Council, Ozzy thought he was safe, and the votes would be on Aubry. He wanted to “manage the jury,” so he shared all his game play with Aubry, for some unknown reason. It backfired, as they decided to go after Ozzy while they had the chance.
Ozzy didn’t see it coming, and for the fifth time in “Survivor” history, Ozzy was voted off. This happened to be the second time he was voted off with an idol in his pocket.
Cirie’s Emotional Tribute
Lusth was Cirie’s most loyal ally on “Survivor 50.” Even from a different camp, Cirie knew Ozzy was the target. However, she couldn’t get to him to tell him or give him the code word they had discussed.
Now, all she could do is offer some kind words on Instagram for her #1 ally.
Cirie wrote, “20+ years of outwitting, outplaying, outlasting… and somehow still staying one of the most genuine souls to ever step foot on that island. ❤️ Watching Ozzy Lusth play Survivor has always been incredible—the strength, the determination, the resilience, and the passion he brought season after season are something truly special. So many unforgettable moments, so many challenges conquered, and a legacy that will forever be part of Survivor history. 🌴🔥.”
Yes, Ozzy will have a legacy on the show forever. He trusted too many people this season, even though his gut (and dreams) were telling him differently.
Fields continued, “But beyond the competitor everyone sees, I’m just grateful to have met the person behind it all. Kind, adventurous, humble, and always unapologetically himself. It’s rare to meet people who leave such a lasting impact both on and off the island. Cheers to everything you’ve accomplished over these 20+ years, Ozzy. Thank you for the memories, the inspiration, and for being such an unforgettable part of this crazy Survivor journey. Much love always. ❤️🙌🏾.”
Fellow ‘Survivor 50’ Castaways Chime In
It definitely was a sad moment on the show. You could feel the tension, but also the sadness people felt for him. He was disappointed in himself, knowing he had a Hidden Immunity Idol in his pocket, but never used it.
After Cirie made her tribute post to Ozzy, a couple of their “Survivor 50” co-stars jumped into the comments to give their support.
Dee Valladares wrote, “Two of the greatest humans right there.”
Meanwhile, Tiffany Nicole Ervin wrote, “🥹🥹🫶🏾🫶🏾🩷🩷 love yall!!!”
While Ozzy has been voted out, Cirie is still in contention to win “Survivor 50.” This would be her first win ever on the show.
