Week 9 Begins
The castaways are back at camp after the double elimination last week. The tensions are high, so this should be a fun night. We will provide updates as this episode airs, so keep refreshing this page for the latest results.
8:12 p.m. – The castaways are definitely trying to figure things out. Devens seems to be the new target after his antics, so Aubry is trying to distance herself. Cirie, Rizo, and Ozzy like it, as it puts a huge target on him.
8:22 p.m. – The aftermath continues, as people are trying to figure out a target and where their alliances stand.
8:32 p.m. – Lots of voting people out talk. Finally, the Immunity Challenge, which will have them holding a handle that is connected to a bucket holding 25% of their pre-game weight. They can get rice, but Jeff is going to compete against them. They need to outlast him, and they get rice!
8:46 p.m. – Four castaways (Joe, Jonathan, Ozzy, and Tiffany) agreed to try to outlast Jeff, which they did. The castaways got rice. Then Joe won the Immunity Challenge. He then had to pick one person to go on an adventure. A few volunteered, so they did rock, paper, scissors to pick a winner. Christian won, so he headed out on a boat, but he will return to camp before they head to Tribal Council.
Rice & Challenges
9:02 p.m. – The castaways are excited to have rice, but some drama between Emily and Cirie on how much rice to make. Then Christian goes to a barge, where he has a certain amount of time to complete a puzzle. Finish it, then he can vote for someone right now. Tribal Council would start with a parchment already in the holder. If he doesn’t complete the puzzle, then he has to take a letter back to camp and read it to everyone. He didn’t complete the puzzle in time.
9:13 p.m. – Christian reads the letter, which tells him he must put his own name down on the parchment tonight for his vote. Yes, he must vote himself out! The talks have shifted all over the place. Gone from Devens to Christian to Emily. No one knows.
Tribal Council on ‘Survivor’
Jeff gives them props for the challenge and beating him, saying how hard it is. They talk about rice and how it fuels them and gives them new life. Christian said it fuels his rage, though, as he explains his penalty for the journey. Emily said he took a risk and failed. Devens said he’s playing the idol tonight because he doesn’t go out with an idol. Cirie said people are unpredictable, and if you can predict what your #1 ally is going to do, then that’s probably when you will be voted out. Lots of talk, but time for the vote!
Results – Jeff tallies the votes. No idols or advantages are played, so here are the votes: Christian, Devens, Ozzy, Devens, Ozzy, Devens, Christian, Christian, Christian, and Christian. That’s five votes for Christian, and he has been eliminated.
