‘Golden Bachelor’ Contestant Nicolle Shares Surprising Take on Fantasy Suite Dates

Mel Owens, season 2’s “The Golden Bachelor” lead, is very close to giving out his final rose and possibly proposing to one lucky lady. With only six women remaining before the Oct. 15 episode airs, Owens has some tough choices to make as the women will be narrowed down to just three.

Before the contestants are whittled down to just three, a few of the women opened up to Parade about their hopes for the final weeks, which include the coveted fantasy suite dates. Nicolle Kate Briscoe, who has surprised viewers with hints that fame may be part of her motivation for being on the show, revealed her unexpected thoughts on what she hopes happens when cameras aren’t rolling.

As Mel’s journey continues, the stakes grow higher than ever.

Nicolle Kate Briscoe, a 64 year old yoga instructor from Miami Beach, Florida, opened up about the possibility of having some alone time with Mel Owens. A frontrunner on season 2 of “The Golden Bachelor,” Briscoe may have surprised some fans when she shared that going all the way when Owens would “absolutely not” happen if she got a chance to make it to fantasy suite dates.

“No, not at all. Absolutely not. I don’t see that happening,” she told Parade. “If we decide to be monogamous, I only become physically intimate if I’m in a monogamous relationship and this is clearly anything but.”

However, Briscoe admitted that if she were the last one standing, she would gladly score a touchdown with the former athlete. “If he gives me the final rose, game on.”

“The Golden Bachelor” viewers may have found Briscoe’s fantasy suite comments somewhat surprising, considering how openly affectionate she’s been with Owens throughout the season. From sharing passionate kisses in the pool in front of the other women to stealing a smooch just before his one-on-one date with another contestant, Briscoe had no trouble showing her true feelings for him.

Briscoe Rubbed Viewers the Wrong Way With Comments on Fame

This week, the women vying for Mel’s heart turn up the heat during a comedy roast group date.

Viewers of this season of “The Golden Bachelor” suspect that Briscoe may be on the show for the wrong reasons, with many believing she’s chasing fame rather than love after making a few controversial comments.

In the Oct. 8 episode of the series, Briscoe tells former contestant Roxanne Massey, “I’ve told myself from the beginning, I’m not dating Mel. I’m dating America. That gives you exposure like you’ve never had.”

While seated with the group of women in the mansion, she tells them, “We’re going to have Housewives status,” and adds, “I would love to be more and more of an influencer.”

Roxanne approached Owens to share that there may be a woman on the show who was not there for the right reasons, but did not state that it was Briscoe. Unfortunately, Roxanne was eliminated that night.

Briscoe is one of the six remaining women, all vying for Owens’ heart. After the Oct. 15 episode airs, only three ladies will remain.
