Former “Bachelorette” star JoJo Fletcher is officially a mom. Fletcher and her husband, Jordan Rodgers, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Romy Blair Rodgers, just one day before Christmas Eve in what the couple described as an unexpected and emotional whirlwind.
Fletcher, 35, announced the news on Instagram on Dec. 25, sharing that what began as a routine weekly sonogram quickly turned into an emergency delivery. Alongside a photo of Rodgers resting on a couch next to their newborn daughter, Fletcher opened up about the experience in a heartfelt caption.
“Merry Christmas to us 🥹❤️ What a whirlwind these last couple of days have been but in the most magical way,” she wrote. “Went in for our weekly sonogram this past Tuesday and found out we needed to deliver via emergency c section that day. At 5:37pm on Dec 23, we met our girl. Romy Blair Rodgers you are our whole world.”She added that the couple is soaking in the moment as “a new family of 3 ❤️ + 2 😉 🐶🐶,” referencing their two dogs. Rodgers reposted the announcement on his Instagram Stories with a festive message of his own, writing, “Santa really upped his game this year,” per People.
Bachelor Nation Shows Up for Baby Romy
Almost immediately, members of Bachelor Nation flooded Fletcher’s comments section with love and congratulations. Fellow “Bachelorette” alum Rachel Lindsay wrote, “OMG so happy for you guys!!! Hope you and little Romy are doing so well ❤️.” Former “Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman added, “A Christmas miracle! Welcome to the world Romy! We love you already 😍.”
Former “Bachelor” and current franchise host Jesse Palmer also chimed in, commenting, “So happy for you both!!! The BEST Christmas gift!!! Enjoy every second!!!! ❤️.”
The outpouring of support reflected just how beloved Fletcher and Rodgers remain within the franchise nearly a decade after their season aired. The couple first announced they were expecting in August 2025, calling their daughter a “rainbow baby” and sharing how meaningful the pregnancy was after a challenging journey to conceive.
In a November interview, Fletcher admitted the road to motherhood came with emotional highs and lows. “Our pregnancy journey has definitely been a mix of emotions,” she said. “It wasn’t as easy as we had hoped to conceive, and that journey came with its hard moments.”
From “The Bachelorette” to Parenthood
Fletcher and Rodgers met during season 12 of “The Bachelorette” in 2016, where they got engaged during the finale. After a long engagement and multiple wedding delays due to the pandemic, the couple tied the knot in May 2022. Over the years, they have been candid about growing together, navigating public scrutiny and building a life beyond reality TV, according to Us Weekly.
Now, as they step into parenthood, Fletcher has already shared what she is most excited about. “I can’t wait for the everyday moments,” she previously said, including bedtime stories, laughter and creating new family traditions.
For now, Fletcher and Rodgers appear focused on soaking in their first holiday season with Romy, a moment Fletcher summed up simply when she wrote, “Romy Blair Rodgers you are our whole world.”
