She went on a reality dating show, battled 31 other women for one man’s heart and won. Now Kelsey Anderson is about to do the one thing fans have been screaming at their screens for two years. She is getting married.
In a TikTok posted Wednesday, Anderson confirmed what Bachelor Nation has refused to let go of since Joey Graziadei got down on one knee at the Season 28 finale of “The Bachelor.” The date is set. The bride is ready. And she announced it in the most Kelsey way humanly possible.
“I’m a 2027 bride,” she said in the video, dissolving into laughter mid-sentence. “Are people going to judge me? Because I’m so young, you know. Oh, my gosh, I’m gonna be a bride!” She then captioned the post, writing in part: “We set the date.”
Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei Set the Date After Two Years
Graziadei proposed to Anderson at the Season 28 finale of “The Bachelor” on March 25, 2024 in Tulum, Mexico. “I have known for a while that I wanted a beautiful life, but I truly didn’t know how beautiful that life could be until I met you,” he told her before dropping to one knee. Fans have been wedding-obsessed ever since.
The couple moved to Los Angeles together and Graziadei won the mirrorball on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 33. Life got full and beautiful. The wedding question never went away though. In February Anderson addressed it head on with a now-viral TikTok, trolling every fan who had been pressuring them. “Weddings just appear, like, they don’t take time,” she said sarcastically, with E! News capturing the moment. And now here we are.
Inside Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei’s Wedding Plans
GettyAnderson and Graziadei have been dropping hints for months and fans have collected every single one. Earlier this year Anderson told E! News that “Dancing With the Stars” pros Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy will teach the couple their first dance. In March Graziadei asked his best friend and Bachelor Nation alum Tanner Courtad to be his best man in an emotional video that had the entire franchise in tears.
Anderson has also been open about honoring her late mother, who passed away in 2018, on her wedding day. She added that Graziadei will honor his late grandmother by having the flower girls carry her favorite flowers, carnations. “I would love to do something that incorporates both of them in our special day,” she shared. “I know she is with me. But I wish I could hear her talking back to me.” Graziadei responded in the comments: “Love you so much my love. Your mom would be so proud of how you carry yourself everyday. Always here with you.”
The fan comments on Wednesday’s TikTok tell the whole story. “This is going to be my royal wedding,” one wrote. Another added: “Can’t wait for the bridal content.”
Congratulations Kelsey and Joey. Bachelor Nation will be watching.
