In just a little over a month, on Sunday, March 22, Taylor Frankie Paul will be in her biggest role yet as the lead for “The Bachelorette” Season 22. But as the big day approaches, she’s showing more and more of what it takes to get ready.
On YouTube, the official Bachelor Nation page shared a vlog-style video of Paul on the day she shot her first promo video, which went out yesterday, on February 9. In it, she takes fans into her pre-makeup car ride, her glam routine, the taping and, lastly, her final car thoughts.
Taylor Frankie Paul Fought Through a Cold for ‘The Bachelorette’ Promo
In the beginning of the video, Paul starts off with eye patches under her eyes and a green matching sweatpants set in the car. “I’m going with my eye patches on and I’m trying to get over a cold,” she said. “So we are thriving now, as we can tell.”
After arriving to the ABC studio, she was taken to hair and makeup, then to the shoot with a red strapless gown. During the taping, the strutted down a runway that had screens on the side which later included videos of her during her time on “The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives.”
“All right guys, that was a wrap of today’s first shoot,” Paul said at the end of the video, this time in full glam in the car. “It was insane, top-notch, honestly. Everything, the people, amazing… Amazing crew and staff. Also, the sets are beautiful behind the scenes.”
“Of course, I don’t know what the pictures look like yet, but it was so fun!” she said. “I’ve done nothing like this to this extent, so that is the update.”

GettyIn addition to her red gown and golden glam, the promo for Paul’s season set the tone for the season to come. In it, she talked about wanting to move past her past relationships, like her messy two-year relationship with ex Dakota Mortensen, and being her most laid-back, authentic self.
“Am I worthy of love? Is it even possible?” she wonders in the video. “As a single mom, I want to better myself.” As a reminder, Paul is a proud mom to a son named Ever, who born in March 2024, who she shares with Mortensen, as well as kids Indy and Ocean, who she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul.
“Maybe all I need to do is be my own true self,” she says, before kicking the fake iPhone screen in front of her and coming out the other side in red crocs, beige sweatpants and a brown crop top. “And have a little faith.”
Season 22 of “The Bachelorette” will air on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Prior to that, ABC will also air “The Bachelorette” reunion special, titled “The Bachelorette: Before the First Rose,” on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
