Is Taylor Frankie Paul’s Season of ‘The Bachelorette’ Airing on Hulu?

Just last week, ABC pulled the plug on season 22 of “The Bachelorette.” After a video of their lead, Taylor Frankie Paul, assaulting her ex, Dakota Mortensen, was published by TMZ, the network had no choice but to cancel the season.

But, with just three days before the premiere aired, the cancelation had fans asking themselves if they’d ever see any of the footage from the season, either on ABC or streaming on Hulu. Here’s a breakdown of what’s a available.

ABC Has Officially Scrapped Season 22 From Hulu

In the previous few seasons of “The Bachelorette,” episodes would air on ABC and would become available to stream the next day on Hulu. For season 22, however, neither of those will be happening.

Not only has the show’s time slot been replaced by reruns of “American Idol,” but there’s no longer a season 22 category on Hulu. Only seasons 18 and 19 currently show up as options.

Prior to the cancelation, season 22 did show up because of the pre-season special called “Before the First Rose.” The special, which was filmed the day before Paul met her 22 suitors at the Bachelor mansion, had her meeting all the previous Bachelorettes of season past, asking them questions and preparing for her season ahead.

The special aired right after the Academy Awards on March 15, but is no longer available to stream on Hulu.

The Bachelor Nation YouTube Channel Has Also Partly Tossed Season 22 Content

If you’re still curious to know how Paul’s season panned out, there are still a few videos available on the Bachelor Nation YouTube page. Among them is a video where Paul and “The Bachelorette” host Jesse Palmer talk about the season right after a rose ceremony.

“It got going fast,” Paul said of the season, which had just begun. “I have some crushes already.”

They then talked about how incredible the contestants were. “You have a really good group of guys,” Palmer said. “Yes, they are, which just made this part so much harder,” Paul admitted. “If they weren’t the best, it would make it easier to weed them out, but they’re such gentlemen and there’s chemistry with them and it’s been wild.”

Paul also talked about not being afraid to break the rules, like eliminated men before rose ceremonies, wearing crocs to dates, and eating the food on a date. “I’m not a very by-the-book girl,” she said.

Most of the other teaser videos from season 22, including the “Meet the Men” video introducing her 22 contestants, has been deleted from the account.

As a reminder, the network pulled Paul’s season on Thursday, March 19, amid the controversy surrounding the reality television star that has surfaced over the last week.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” A Disney Entertainment spokesperson told TMZ.
