It’s officially graduation season, and several celebrities are taking to social media to share sweet family photos as their children celebrate another major life milestone.
On May 21, Trista Sutter, the first-ever “The Bachelorette,” shared a heartfelt photo standing next to her son, Maxwell Sutter, dedicating an Instagram post to him as he finishes high school this year. Fans couldn’t believe just how much he resembled her father, Ryan Sutter, in the photo.
Trista Sutter Shares Sweet Photo With Son Max to Celebrate His High School Graduation
Fans can’t believe how much Trista Sutter’s son, Max Sutter, has grown up after “The Bachelorette” star shared a photo posing next to him following his recent high school graduation. In the snapshot, Max towers over his mom, with fans quickly pointing out just how much he resembles his dad, Ryan Sutter, especially in his looks and height.
“He is IDENTICAL to Ryan! Wow! You’re so beautiful Trista! ❤️” A fan shared. “Oh my gosh. Looks just like Ryan. That’s crazy!! Huge congrats!” Another commented.

Trista kept her caption for her photo simple, but it struck an emotional chord for any parent watching their child grow up and step into adulthood after high school.
“My baby graduates today,” she wrote alongside a teary-eyed emoji and graduation cap emoji.
Sutter Shared an Emotional Look at Her Children’s First Days of School
Not only are Trista and Ryan parents to Max, but they also share a daughter, Blakesley Sutter, who just completed her junior year of high school.
Back in August, the reality star mom shared an emotional post on Instagram marking her kids’ first day of their junior and senior year. The photo montage began with both Max and Blakesley holding up signs from when they were children going to kindergarten and first grade, before continuing through the years to their current grades.
Using Luke Bryan’s song, “Fast,” for the sweet montage, she shared, “It just goes too fast. 🥹 Junior year for Blakesley Grace and the last, first day for our senior (what?!!! 😭), Maxwell Alston.”
“I love you both to the moon and back to the moon and back to the moon and back to infinity and beyond and I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for you both (but I’m putting in a request for time to slow down. 🙏🏼),” Trista continued.
The Sutter’s Celebrated 22 Years of Marriage in December
Last December marked the couple’s 22nd wedding anniversary, a major milestone for any relationship, especially for one that began on her season of “The Bachelorette.”
Taking to Instagram, Trista honored their anniversary by sharing a photo from each of their 22 years together. Photos included Trista’s two pregnancies and their many trips around the world.
“22 pictures for 22 years (well, really 23 pictures because I wanted the song to last longer!).” She began. “22 years of love, friendship, compromise, trust, forgiveness, laughter, safety, peace, adventure, passion, joy and so much more. No matter the ups and downs, I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else.”
“I love you with everything, @ryansutter and can’t wait to celebrate 22 more. Happy anniversary,” she added.
