‘Bachelor’ Favorites Brave Major Storm in the Name of Their New HGTV Show

If you live in New York, or have been keeping track of the news lately, you know that the state is being hit with another major snowstorm on Monday, February 23. But for “Bachelor” fan-favorites Tyler Cameron and Tayshia Adams, facing the cold is no big deal.

In a video posted to Instagram, the former “Bachelorette” lead and contestant take a jab at hosting their own weather forecast in the middle of Times Square. As it turns out, the two are in town to promote HGTV’s new reality competition series, “Bachelor Mansion Takeover.

Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron Became Meteorologists for a Day

Wearing a black parka, white sweatpants and a green baseball hat, Cameron got the forecast started. “Weatherman Tyler Cameron standing here in Times Square with the first blizzard in 16 years,” he said, before passing it to Adams.

“Hey guys, it is Tayshia Adams and I am here in New York Times Square where the visibility is low but the vibes are high,” she joked. “Tonight we’re going to be getting about 16 inches of snow.”

Cameron, who will be the main judge alongside Adams on the show, then teased her. “What do you know about 16 inches?” he said. “OK Tyler, something you don’t know okay?” she clapped back.

“We have a six-inch snowman and trust me, I know six inches,” Cameron said.

“I don’t know Tyler, I am no meteorologist but I have to say, I think it’s gonna be a big snowstorm,” Adams said, referring back to an iconic scene in “Mean Girls.”

The video then ends with Adams joining someone in dancing as the snow continued to pour down. “Sorry, sorry, I thought it was my “Dancing With the Stars” audition, my bad,” she joked.

What Will ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’ Be About?

Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” which will be premiering shortly on Monday, March 2, will see the iconic Bachelor Mansion getting a major makeover.

“For the first time ever we’re pulling back the curtain and revealing the mansion as you’ve never seen it before,” host Jesse Palmer said at the time. “Our 12 contestants have already lived through the twists and turns of The Bachelor franchise. They know this is not going to be easy. And the clock is ticking because this renovation has to be finished before a new season of The Bachelorette begins.”

In addition to the 12 fan-favorite former stars and Palmer, judges Adams and Cameron will be joined by many guest judges. Among them are “Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack, HGTV’s Nate Berkus and “The Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher, to former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe and “The O.C.” star Rachel Bilson.

“Bachelor Mansion Takeover” will consist of six episodes, with the first airing on Monday, March 2, at 8 p.m. ET. In addition, episodes can be accessed the following day on HBO Max.
