Prince William Seen Helping His Wife Like a Gentleman In Fan Video

Prince William showed his good etiquette and attention to detail as he assisted his wife, Kate Middleton, with her coat after she slid into a chair. After the princess sat down, she decided to remove the coat, and Prince William was quick to grab it and expertly fold it in half before draping it over his arm. The kind gesture was shown in a fan video on Instagram.

The fan account who shared the clip captioned the post, “William really is a loving husband and the best assistant ever! Look at the way he cares for Catherine’s coat!”

Prince William was then seen standing by Kate’s side as she tried her hand at weaving while visiting  Radical Weavers, a working studio and charity in Stirling, Scotland. People says William and Kate visited on Tuesday Tuesday to highlight how the country’s unique heritage traditions are continuing to connect communities and inspire new generation.

Kate Middleton Helped Design the Bespoke Coat Prince William Helped Her With

There is a fascinating story behind the coat William helped Kate remove in the viral moment, Vogue reveals. The outlet says the 44-year-old was creatively involved in the creation of the piece, which they identified as “a longline, double-breasted Chris Kerr coat – styled with Gianvito Rossi boots and a Le Kilt skirt—made from a Johnstons of Elgin wool in a Caledonian-inspired palette of navy and ice-blue plaid.”

The Vogue feature went on to point out that Kate is known for her “hands-on” approach to what she wears, especially since the 2025 departure of stylist Natasha Archer. The outlet lists Kate’s many custom Catherine Walker coat dresses as some of the pieces she has brought to life through teamwork with trusted designers.

Scotland Visit Was William & Kate’s Second Public Appearance of 2026

The royal couple’s visit to the weaving studio was their second public engagement of the new year. The first was a January 8 trip to Charing Cross Hospital in West London.

The pair shared a collection of photos form their visit, and made sure note the significance of Scottish weaving tradition in the caption. They wrote, “Weaving connections. An inspiring example of how traditional Scottish tartan-weaving is being used by Radical Weavers to bring people together, offering support and hope to those affected by trauma and loss.”

In another video, a closeup shot showed Kate operating a loom. “Learning to weave tartan,” read the caption.
