‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ Star Expecting First Baby

“My Big Fat Fabulous Life” star Buddy Bell is about to take on a brand-new role: dad.

The longtime friend of Whitney Thore announced that he and his wife, Courtney Bell, are expecting their first child together.

The couple shared the news on social media on Saturday, April 4, giving fans a glimpse into their growing family.

The Sweet Announcement

“Luby Francis Bell IV coming this October!” Buddy captioned his Instagram post, confirming that the couple is expecting a baby boy later this year.

The announcement featured a series of heartfelt images, including a sonogram nestled inside a basket of flowers.

Another photo showed a cake with blue icing, hinting at the baby’s gender, while a final snapshot captured Buddy and Courtney smiling alongside family members during what appeared to be a small celebration.

Courtney also shared the news on her own page, writing, “Baby Boy Bell 🩵🥹 due October 2026,” echoing the excitement surrounding their growing family.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with messages of support and celebration.

“Y0000000!!!! Congratulations y’all!!!” one person wrote, while another added, “THIS IS AMAZING!!! Congratulations to you both!!!!”

Others chimed in with messages like, “So happy for yall!!” and “What a blessing!”

Buddy Often Shares Touching Moments With Fans

The baby news marks a major milestone for the couple, who have shared glimpses of their relationship over the years.

Buddy, in particular, has been open about his appreciation for Courtney, often posting heartfelt tributes.

Back in October 2025, he celebrated their second wedding anniversary with a playful yet emotional message that gave fans insight into their dynamic.

“Two years of marriage and she still likes me!” he wrote at the time. “Thank you for making every day feel like a slumber party. Thank you for all those sweet smiles I get to look at. Thank you for going to church with me and evolving with me. Thank you for helping me be a little less insane.”

He continued with his signature humor, adding, “I would fold all the towels you asked me to, but thank you for not asking me to. I love, love, love, LOVE you! You’re everything. Happy anniversary!”

Now, as they prepare to welcome their son in October, that same sense of humor and affection appears to be carrying into this next chapter.

While Buddy first became known to fans through his close friendship on reality TV, his life off-screen has increasingly taken center stage.

This latest announcement signals a new beginning—one that fans are clearly eager to celebrate alongside him.
