‘Little People, Big World’ Star Matt Roloff Hints at Big Changes for Roloff Farms

Matt Roloff, star of TLC’s “Little People, Big World,” has sparked speculation among fans with a cryptic social media post hinting at significant developments at Roloff Farms.

The 63-year-old patriarch shared a photo of himself on Sunday, Aug. 24, where he was pointing to a map of the farm.

The image was accompanied by the caption: “Shooting a series of fun videos to update you all on what’s going on around here and particularly 3 new absolutly incredible new additions to Pumpkin season —- Can’t wait to show you all —. Stay tuned.”

This teaser has left fans eagerly awaiting more details, with some speculating about potential new attractions or events at the farm.

The timing of the announcement coincides with recent changes in Roloff’s personal life, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the news.

Fans React

The online community has been abuzz with reactions to Roloff’s post.

“Cannot wait to see Matt what you have going on. Look forward to ur posts,” one user wrote.

Another added, “Never a dull moment!!!!👏.” The TLC star responded by adding, “Absolutely not!  never !”

Others expressed how they couldn’t wait for pumpkin season, as the property is known for its pumpkin festival each year.

“Can’t wait for pumpkin season Matt! I wish ya’ll would bring back Big people Little world,” one added.

Roloff Has Been Trying to Sell The Property

Roloff has tried to sell part of the property after his sons Jeremy and Zach tried to negotiate a deal to buy a portion of the Oregon farm, but it ultimately didn’t happen.

When that fell through, he listed 16 acres of his 109-acre property in 2022 for $4 million. He later pulled it off the market, only to relist it in April 2025 with a price cut. It was going for $2,895,000.

The beautiful property is a staple on the hit TLC show. The real estate broker described the home in an Instagram post, “Step into a storybook lifestyle on this iconic 16+ acre farm in the heart of Helvetia. Whether you’re craving a peaceful retreat, ready to launch your agritourism vision, or seeking a property that fuels your creativity—this estate delivers.” It includes a home theater, scenic trails, and the “Big Red Barn,” which is perfect for hosting events.

Roloff gave a statement to PEOPLE in April about putting it back on the market.

“Roloff Farm — and the original farmhouse — has been a monumental part of my life for over 30 years,” Roloff said. “This legacy property was shared with millions of you around the world through Little People Big World. It holds some of the most magical memories and will forever live deep in my heart.”
