A beloved TLC star from “Say Yes to the Dress” is totally unrecognizable in a rare throwback video.
Randy Fenoli jumped on the viral bandwagon of sharing photos from the 1990s in a new Instagram post. He had fans doing a double-take at his throwback looks and bold fashion choices.

Randy Fenoli posted a series of throwback photos featuring his best friend, Michelle Nagy, from more than 30 years ago. The pair studied fashion together at New York City’s FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and have remained close ever since.
Fenoli radiated pure ’90s style and effortless cool in the photos. He and Nagy shared their youthful adventures in a series of 15 retro images.
The “Say Yes to the Dress” icon had long, shoulder-length hair and wore the styles of the day, which included light-colored jeans, Doc Marten boots, and all-black outfits. Nagy’s ever-changing looks included a multitude of different hairstyles and brightly colored outfits.
In the slideshow, set to the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” the fashion trendsetter showcased his early creativity in the wedding world. The video also highlighted his fashion work capturing some of the biggest wedding trends of the ’90s.
Fans loved the throwback video, sharing their shock at how different the wedding dress designer looked decades prior. They posted their remarks in the Instagram clip’s comments section.
“Love that long hair,” wrote one follower. “OMG Randy, so gorgeous with that long hair,” declared a second Instagram user.
A third penned, “So stylish, even then.” A fourth social media user wrote, “Randy has been such a blessing for all these decades. Keep blessing us with you and your talents!”
How Long Has Randy Fenoli Been Designing Wedding Dresses?
Randy Fenoli became hugely popular as a beloved bridal consultant on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress.” However, his career in the fashion industry began decades earlier.
According to his official bio, Fenoli created two bridal lines right after graduating college. The first was Randy Fenoli for the Diamond Collection, and the second was Randy Fenoli for Dressy Creations.
Today, he owns Randy Fenoli Bridal. He believes in the philosophy that every bride is beautiful, “no matter what her size, age or shape.”,
Fenoli began appearing on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” in 2007. He worked as Kleinfield’s fashion director until 2012 and remains a mainstay on the wildly popular series, and at the bridal salon, through today. Randy Fenoli has also appeared on “Big Bliss,” “Randy Knows Best,” and “Randy to the Rescue.”
