Dolph Lundgren, 68, & Wife Emma Krokdal, 30, Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance with His Daughter

Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren and his family stepped out for a very special occasion, walking the carpet at the premiere of “Masters of the Universe” at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, on May 18.

Lundgren, 68, famously starred as the original He-Man in the 1987 live-action movie, making his rare appearance at the premiere especially fitting. The actor even posed alongside the new cast, including Nicholas Galitzine, who portrays Prince Adam Glenn/He-Man in the new film.

It was a family affair for “Rocky IV” actor Dolph Lundgren as he posed on the carpet with his wife, Emma Krokdal, 30, and daughter, Greta Lundgren, 24, at the “Masters of the Universe” movie premiere.

Dolph, who has a 38-year age gap with his wife of nearly three years, appeared happy and healthy as he posed for photos wearing a white button-down shirt, black pants, sneakers, and a leather jacket. Krokdal looked beautiful in a gold-beaded black top with a large butterfly design and a matching black skirt. Dolph’s daughter, Greta, also looked stunning in a blue halter-neck dress and silver heels.

The actor also got the chance to pose alongside the new cast on the carpet, which includes Morena Baccarin, Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, and Nicholas Galitzine, who stars as He-Man.

After overcoming kidney cancer in 2024 following an initial diagnosis in 2015, Dolph has made just a handful of red carpet appearances.

In September 2025, he attended the BAFTA TV Tea Party alongside Krokdal, smiling on the red carpet as he wrapped his arm around his wife. At the event, he spoke to People about his new outlook on life following his cancer-free diagnosis.

“NED, they call it. No evidence of disease,” he began. “It feels good. It was a tough fight to have for about five years. Actually, about three bad years, but now it’s better — so I’m back to normal, working out,” he shared.

“Every day, I’m more grateful for everything I have and everything the universe has given me, and I try to really enjoy the people I love — my kids and my wife and my friends,” he said, adding, “It’s been a big eye-opener and it’s actually been a positive experience for me, I think. If I hadn’t had cancer, I may have done a crazy stunt and killed myself that way, because I was just a little bit too intense before.”

More recently, “The Punisher” actor attended the world premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in Hollywood with his daughter, Greta, in December 2025. The father-daughter duo looked sleek and polished for the event, with the legendary actor dressed in an all-black ensemble paired with a navy pinstripe blazer, while Greta wore an off-the-shoulder black-and-green knee-length dress styled with black heels.

Fans of Dolph’s He-Man are in for a treat after he teased a small cameo in the “Masters of the Universe” film. Speaking to Variety (via Screen Rant), he revealed, “I’m in it. I have a small role. At some point in the movie, when he needs some crucial advice, I show up, and I give it to him when he needs it the most. It was surreal working on it because… it was like talking to a younger version of myself.”
