We watched the Top 9 on “American Idol” season 24 perform last night on ABC. It was Disney Night, which brought out some amazing performances. When all was said and done, Ryan Seacrest revealed the results, and another two contestants were sent home. Now we are left with the Top 7 on “American Idol” season 24. We are taking a look at these hopefuls and doing some power rankings for the Top 7 singers on “American Idol” season 24.
1. Brooks Rosser
For me, I thought this was a great song choice for Brooks. He sounded great on this performance, even though the judges talked about him going off the rails as the song went on. I just love his voice, and it’s so unique. Yes, he has to work on the nerves, but he’s getting more and more comfortable, so give the kid some time!
2. Jordan McCullough on ‘American Idol’
If there was anyone that I was most excited about seeing perform for Disney Night, it was Jordan. I knew he was going to nail it, and that is exactly what he did. This was perfection, and Brooks’ popularity is what keeps him in the #1 spot.
3. Hannah Harper
The people love Hannah. She seems to get a lot of attention, and her performances get a lot of views. She is definitely a favorite to win this season, but something about her doesn’t feel right to me. Great country voice, but lacks that “it” factor to make it big.
4. Keyla Richardson
Keyla has been on a rollercoaster ride for me. I wasn’t a huge fan during the first few performances. Then she won me over and has been outstanding the past couple of weeks. However, this one was a no-go for me. Everyone else seemed to rage about it, but she just felt like she was talking during the beginning. She ended strong, but the beginning lacked for me.
5. Daniel Stallworth on ‘American Idol’ 2026
When you perform first, people may forget about your performance. Daniel started the night strong for the Top 9. He has been improving every week, so now he’s up to the fifth spot.
6. Braden Rumfelt
I was hoping for more from Braden. His performance last week was underwhelming, and now this week, he did the same thing. This song choice wasn’t great, and I felt it didn’t match the sound of his voice very well.
7. Chris Tungseth
With how the performances have gone, I feel Philmon Lee should still be here and Chris Tungseth should have been eliminated. I wasn’t impressed with this performance, which has been the norm for Chris lately.
Who do you think are the best singers for the Top 7 on “American Idol” season 24?

Jordan is by far the best singer in the competition and Keyla is a very close second. It should be based on talent and not popularity. They both knows how to sing and perform on stage. Some of the singers still in the competition should not be there. I will say some good ones went home and should still be in the competition.
You no longer need to write this column. You are prejudiced to Brooks who should not EVEN be in this singing competition and putting him ABIVE Jordan’s talent???? Just wow. Just stop already,
