Bunnie Xo Calls ‘Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic’ a ‘Raw’ & ‘Real’ Account

David Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios, shared the vision for bringing the podcaster’s journey to the screen.

“Bunnie Xo’s story is the kind of raw, unfiltered journey that audiences immediately connect with — honest, fearless and ultimately inspiring,” Glasser noted.

He added, “At 101 Studios, along with our partners at Universal Pictures, we’re excited to bring ‘Stripped Down’ to the screen and capture the resilience, humor, and humanity that makes her story so powerful.”

Like the book, the film will show “the unwavering grit Bunnie carried throughout her life” and “her inspirational journey of redemption.”

“I grew up on the east side of Vegas watching drive in movies with no sound from my bedroom window,” Bunnie shared on Instagram.

“Never in a million years did I ever think the world would want to see a movie about my life,” she continued. “Even writing this book, I had no idea the impact it would have and how many of us were traumatized & broken at the hands of people who we trusted. We are the era of souls that’s breaking generational trauma & I feel like this book just shined a spotlight on that even more.”

Bunnie noted, “Writing this book was one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever done. I told my story the only way I knew how: raw, real and unapologetic.”

She shared, “Seeing it now move from the pages to the big screen is something I never could have imagined. I can’t wait for audiences to experience the chaos, the heartbreak, the humor and the redemption in a way that only film can capture.”

“If this film does anything, I hope it reminds people that your past nor your trauma can ever define you, your comeback does,” she added. “It’s never too late.”
