Catherine Zeta-Jones & Michael Douglas are Selling their Majestic Historical Mansion for $9.75 Million: SEE INSIDE

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are ready and willing to let go of their historical Hudson River mansion. That’s why the star-worthy home has been put on the market for $9.75 million.

While that might seem like a lot of money, it happens to be less than they originally wanted for the enviable estate, which means that the potential new owner could score themselves quite a deal.

The Celebrity Couple Has Tried to Sell the Home in the Past

Zeta-Jones and Douglas first put their “sprawling” Hudson River, New York, mansion up for sale in June 2024, and were asking $12 million for the home, according to Realtor.com. The move came “less than five years after buying the historical property for just $4.5 million. They are understood to have carried out extensive renovations to the dwelling in the years since.”

The famous figures then took the property off the market in April 2025, before relisting it after a month for $10 million. That was followed by the residence being delisted again; however, Realtor.com noted that “[o]n March 19, the dwelling returned to the market for a third time with an even bigger discount—offered up for just $9.75 million.”

‘Longmeadow’ Offers Plenty of Impressive Perks

The “estate, known as Longmeadow, … was originally built in 1929 and offers sweeping views of the Hudson River,” while being found “in one of the Hudson Valley’s most premier communities,” Realtor.com notes.

“Majestically set on 12 sweeping acres of lush, open grounds, this extraordinary estate captures the full splendor of its idyllic surroundings,” according to the Corcoran listing. “With commanding views of both the rolling landscape and the tranquil waters of the Hudson, Longmeadow offers a setting that is nothing short of breathtaking.”

The listing adds, “Spanning over 11,000 square feet across four expansive levels, the residence is both grand in scale and intimate in feel. At its heart are eight beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, each designed as a private sanctuary, along with twelve bathrooms finished to the highest standard. A dramatic 30-foot interior gallery anchors the home, connecting a series of stunning public rooms that are equally suited for grand entertaining or quiet reflection.”

That’s not to mention the fact that, per the listing, “[t]he lower level offers a fully immersive lifestyle experience, with dedicated areas for recreation, fitness, and entertaining. Enjoy expansive playrooms, a state-of-the-art gym, a summer kitchen, and a full bath — all leading to the crown jewel: a 21-foot heated indoor pool, offering a resort-quality escape year-round.”
