See Inside Selena Gomez’s Gorgeous L.A. House, Just Listed for $6.5M

Now that newlywed Selena Gomez has settled down with her husband of seven months, famed producer Benny Blanco, the superstar singer and actress is ready to bid farewell to her own L.A. mansion.

TMZ first reported the new real estate listing on May 1, 2026, noting that Gomez and Blanco purchased a $35 million Beverly Hills mansion late last year. Gomez’s abode is going for far less — a mere $6.495 million — but it’s still a gorgeous property that her realtors have dubbed a “private celebrity compound.”

Selena Gomez’s House Has 6 Bedrooms & 10 Bathrooms

Located on close to an acre of “park-like grounds,” Gomez’s 11,500 square foot home is tucked away with a gated, private driveway in Encino’s ritzy Rancho enclave.

The “Murders in the Building” star’s realtors, Branden & Rayni Williams, wrote in their first social media post about the estate that it “evokes a magical vision of romance, inspiration, and tranquility.”

According to the home’s official listing, the estate at 4626 Encino Avenue boasts six bedrooms, including two primary bedroom suites on different levels, and a whopping 10 bathrooms. “Completely renovated” without compromising the home’s original integrity, the listing says the lower level features a wine cellar, gym, massage room, glam room, office, kitchen, and a vocal booth — perfect for the next rising music star.

Outside, the gorgeous grounds include a cabana with a bar, a fire pit, al fresco dining area, and a “cascading waterfall and stream flowing into the pool and spa.” Private showings are required for interested buyers.

In August 2024, Gomez posted a video of herself in the large primary bedroom that’s also pictured in the new listing. The post showed her collapsing in her bed, trying not to cry after finding out she’d landed a starring role in the movie “Emilia Pérez.”

Selena Gomez’s House Has a Wild History, Including Being Built by Rock Icon Tom Petty

Gomez purchased the home in March 2020 for around $4.9 million, according to Zillow. She’s not the only music superstar to have lived there, though — late rock icon Tom Petty was a previous owner, too. According to Realtor.com, she purchased it from Grammy Award-winning music executive and producer Randy Spendlove.

The home actually has a wild history, per Realtor.com, which reported that while Petty lived there with his wife Jane and their kids in the 80s, a “fire erupted on the wooden staircase while the family was eating breakfast,” forcing the Pettys to move out in 1987.

Most of the home was destroyed by the fire, except for the basement recording studio, the outlet reported. The Pettys decided to rebuild on the property, designing the home that Gomez would later live in.

Jane acquired the home during the Pettys’ 1996 divorce, Realtor.com reported. But when she tried to sell it in 2013, overdue loans on the home came due, the house was foreclosed, and Jane filed for bankruptcy. When a professional party host rented the house and began hosting “illegal” gatherings, “the police stormed the property with a SWAT team, helicopters, and black vans.”

Developers purchased the house from the bank in 2017 for $2.6 million and completely renovated it, leading to Spendlove’s purchase of the property and, later, Gomez’s.
