Zach Bryan is sharing a surgery update with fans. On Thursday, January 22, the musician posted several photos on his Instagram Stories, showing his right foot in a bandage.

The first image on Bryan’s Instagram Stories shows him in a car and his right foot is bandaged up. “We’re cooked,” he wrote on the photo. Initially seeing this photo and the message would cause some concern for fans but he followed up with a reassuring message in a second post, this time sharing a selfie of his face. “Guys, nothing serious with my foot — had a cyst the size of a golf ball removed off my ankle from running,” he wrote. “I’ll be back up and at ’em in a month or so. If anyone has good book recs, I am in.”
The musician shared another photo of his foot in a bandage, also on his Instagram Stories. This time he was resting up and getting ready to play the video game “Call of Duty: World at War.” He shared his thoughts on this image, too, writing, “We’re 15 again.”
Busy Month for Zach Bryan
It has been a busy few months for the “Something in the Orange” singer but now his cyst removal is going to ensure he takes it easy for the next few weeks. He married Samantha Leonard Bryan on New Year’s Eve in 2025 during a trip to Spain. The couple were first romantically linked in July 2025, People reports.
Bryan announced the news of his wedding when he posted a stunning black-and-white photo of himself and his bride. In the caption of the Instagram post, he wrote, “Tougher than the rest.”
On January 12, he also shared with fans that he was dropping an acoustic version of “With Heaven on Top.” In the caption on Instagram, he shared his thoughts, writing, “This one’s for all the weird audiophiles that no matter how much I put into a record will always miss just a guitar & me,” he wrote. “like I said it’s just me n a room with a mic and guitar and a very pretty girl and a very small dog. Love u guys and hope you enjoy it.”
