Bobby Flay Shows His Stunning NYC Apartment [PICS]

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay has unveiled his newly refreshed Tribeca apartment, showcasing a blend of historic charm and modern elegance.

He gave Architectural Digest a look inside his gorgeous home in a piece published on September 2.

Located in the Morris Adjmi–designed Sterling Mason building, Flay’s 3,800-square-foot loft features 14-foot-high ceilings and a mix of old and new architectural elements.

The renovation, led by Olivia Jane Design, aimed to enhance the space while maintaining its “old New York” feel.

One of the standout features of the apartment is the vintage De Sede DS600 Non Stop Sectional, which serves as a focal point in the living area.

Complementing this is a dramatic chandelier with 40 milk glass globes and brass spokes, imported from the Netherlands and rewired to fit the space. Flay’s designer, Olivia Capuano, described the fixture as “the queen of the room,” adding a touch of theatrical flair to the loft.

The Kitchen Is Key

The kitchen, which Flay had customized nearly a decade ago, remains largely unchanged.

It boasts a timeless design with extended countertops.

Flay noted, “The ironic part is we basically left the kitchen alone,” highlighting its enduring appeal.

The Food Network chef previously noted in a podcast with Food & Wine in October 2024 that cooking is very much an everyday part of his life.

“If you come to my house, I’m cooking for you. You can’t come to my house and not be cooked for, it doesn’t work that way,” Flay said. “You can’t just say, ‘Let’s just order in pizza.’ It’s the way I show my adoration. It’s the way I show my appreciation for my friends, my family, people who I want to get to know even better.”

Flay’s Cats Approve

Flay’s apartment isn’t just a showcase of high-end design—it’s also a haven for his beloved cats, Canelo and Stella.

In fact, Flay humorously admitted, “The house is theirs. Let’s be honest.”

The two feline friends are especially drawn to a leather sofa in the den.

No area is off limits, as Flay previously said that the cats will jump on the kitchen counters in a February 2024 TikTok.

“This whole thing about cats on the counter? Well, here’s the deal. Cats, they do whatever they wanna do,” he told fans.

Flay added, “If you have a cat in your house, the cat is basically going to go anywhere you don’t have a door closed.”

The chef bluntly said, “I mean, who cares?” as he grinned and added, “I like cats.”
