The amateur chefs from the Asia-Pacific region will be flexing their muscles (and dance skills) tonight on “MasterChef: Global Gauntlet.” The hopeful amateur chefs will be cooking their signature dishes tonight. If Gordon Ramsay and the judges like the dish, an apron may be given to them.

Auditions Day 2 Begins
The judges are in place, and we have another night of auditions on “MasterChef: Global Gauntlet” tonight. For tonight, there will be five more aprons to hand out. This time it will be for the Asia-Pacific region. We will provide updates as tonight’s episode airs, so keep refreshing this page for the latest results.
8:11 p.m. – We’ve had one contestant make their way back to the judges. Laurence was representing Australia, but his kangaroo was a little overcooked and dry, so it was a no from Gordon. They need three yes votes to get an apron.
8:22 p.m. – The first apron of the night was handed out. Aishu, who is representing India, earned the first apron. Now the judges are tasting more dishes.
8:30 p.m. – Two more contestants and two more aprons were handed out. We had Foo representing Vietnam and Shompa representing Bangladesh, both getting an apron.
8:38 p.m. – Two more amateur cooks presented their signature dishes to the judges. Both had overcooked meat, so both were a no.
8:46 p.m. – We got a chance to see Jaime, who was representing Malaysia. She has almost 2 million followers online and is a food influencer. She must be legit, as she just got an apron from the judges.
8:58 p.m. – The final two contestants present their dishes. They seemed to enjoy both, but the Chinese ravioli won over the judges. Daniel and his tank top move on in the competition.
