Winner Crowned on ‘The Great Food Truck Race’ Tonight
It looks like the final two teams will be serving food on an air base tonight. The teams will be trying to collect some USO bucks to add even more money to their till. They want to be leading the pack when all is said and done this week. Which team will that be tonight on “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18? Find out with our live recap below.
A Truckin’ Awesome Race
We start the finale with a look back at this season. We see how the final two teams have stacked up against each other. They both think they are impossible to beat!
Two More Days of Selling
The teams meet Tyler Florence at a Navy base. The soldiers will be ready to eat some lunch today. Each soldier will be given $20 in USO bucks. They will be tasked with creating irresistible food that will make these soldiers want to spend all their money on their truck.
For the challenge, the teams can only have $20 in items available on their menus. The team that earns the most USO bucks will be able to convert those sales in USO bucks to actual money for their till.
Navy Chef Challenge
The teams are working on selling dishes and food to the soldiers. Nishaan seems to be selling a lot of their mango sweet tea, but not many other items. Good Fortune Company is selling a lot of dishes, so it seems like they are getting food from Good Fortune Company and drinks from Nishaan.
Tyler then comes into the trucks and adds another challenge to the mix. The teams will also be tasked with serving food to the Navy chefs. Three Navy chefs will be coming to their trucks to taste a dish. “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025 teams will be tasked with creating a dish that has a high healthy calorie count, can be served in mass quantities, and the dish is elevated. The team that impresses the Navy chefs the most will get $300 for their till.
The teams each make their dish and serve it to the chefs. Then they get back to selling to the soldiers. Nishaan starts selling more and more food, so they are happy. Good Fortune Company is falling behind on tickets and cooking the food, as they all want the wings.
While Good Fortune Company is falling behind on orders and their line is backed up, they did win the taste challenge and got $300 for their till. Nishaan is smashing through their tickets, though, and that could mean more USO bucks coming in.
Day 1 came to an end, and the trucks closed up shop. They will be tasked with new challenges the next day, and will be finding their own spot to sell.
Day 2 of Selling on ‘The Great Food Truck Race’ Season 18 Finale
The teams are excited for Day 2 of selling. They both head to the same spot to sell, so it’s a side-by-side challenge.
There is rain, so it could mean slow sales. When parking, Nishaan managed to get under a bridge. That could be a huge advantage, as their customers could remain dry while waiting for their food.
One Last Challenge
We are going back to the beginning, as the first challenge the teams faced on “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18 was to create a signature dish for Tyler.
Now, they will be making that same dish, and Tyler wants to see how much they have improved. The team that creates the better dish will get $300 for their till.
Nishaan’s food processor breaks down as they are making the dish for Tyler. They are chopping up the cilantro now, in hopes of it not causing any issues for the dish Tyler will eat.
Meanwhile, Tyler suggested that Good Fortune Company make their dumplings crispy during that first challenge. So, they are going to make them crispy for tonight’s challenge.
Tyler goes to both trucks and seems to enjoy both of their dishes. They both seemed to improve on their original dish. He does have some feedback for both, but we won’t find out until later who won the challenge.
The teams go back to selling, and the final Tyler text comes through. Selling is complete, and it’s time to find out who won “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18.
Final Elimination on ‘The Great Food Truck Race’ Season 18

For tonight’s challenge:
- Navy Chef Challenge – Good Fortune Company won, so got $300 for their till.
- Signature Dish 2.0 Challenge – Good Fortune Company won this also, so another $300 for their till.
The final results are revealed, and the winners of “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18 is Nishaan. Despite Good Fortune Company winning both challenges, they come up short and Nishaan wins after just six months in business as a food truck!
