TikTok star and “Next Level Chef” alum Tineke “Tini” Younger returned to social media on January 2, 2025 to share an update with her fans for the first time since announcing the loss of one of her twin babies in November.
Younger, 24, has a TikTok following of over 12 million, and finished in 8th place when she competed on season 2 of Gordon Ramsay’s “Next Level Chef,” which aired in 2023.
The cooking phenom married her husband, Antoine Wright Jr., in November 2024, and announced the couple was expecting twins in June 2025. She kept her fans updated throughout the pregnancy, and heartbreakingly announced one of them, “Baby A,” had passed away on November 26. Younger said she named the late baby Arya. The other twin, whose name she did not reveal, was safely delivered, according to her post.
Younger said in the birth announcement that she would be taking a break from social media, and her team stepped in to continue sharing recipes with her fans via Substack. Now, the star chef has made a brief return to share an update which included some heartwarming family Christmas photos.
Tini Younger’s Christmas Baby Update
Younger wrote in her update, “Just wanted to hop on socials real quick and just let everyone know L (baby b) is doing good, we love her so much. We remind her everyday about Arya and Arya definitely plays with her sister in her dreams, L loves to smile in her sleep.”
She continued, “I’m not sure when I will be back, I’m still emotionally and physically trying to heal, I’ve had some complications during my postpartum which I’m still trying to recover from. Thank you to everyone who sends love.”
Tini Younger Lost One Twin Baby to Placenta Abruption
In her November message announcing she had lost one of her twins, Younger said the tragedy occurred due to a placenta abruption that happened as she was nearing her 36th week of pregnancy. She wrote that she was “so close to being done and getting the girls to term” before the complication.
The Mayo Clinic says placental abruption is an uncommon, but serious pregnancy complication in which the placenta partly or completely separates from the inner wall of the uterus before delivery. This can decrease or block the baby’s supply of oxygen and nutrients and cause heavy bleeding in the mother, according to the institute.
Younger called both her twins “so beautiful” before promising, “Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister.”
