The judges were putting the pressure on these chefs, as the Quickfire Challenge and Elimination Challenge were combined into this one dinner party in Greenville, South Carolina. To make it even worse, they had a very tight budget to work with as a team of eight chefs.

Week 9 Begins
The chefs are with Kristen Kish and Gail Simmons in the break room, who tell them to pack their bags because they’re going to Greenville, South Carolina. We will provide updates as tonight’s episode airs, so keep refreshing this page for the latest results.
9:46 p.m. – The chefs will be heading to Greenville, South Carolina, tonight. They will be hosting the Ultimate Dinner Party, where they will serve an appetizer at the cocktail hour. Then they will work together to serve an eight-course meal, with each chef being responsible for one of the courses. The winner of Last Chance Kitchen also returned: Rhoda!
9:56 p.m. – The chefs are in Greenville. They did their shopping and have now just finished cooking their apps, as the Quickfire Challenge is in full swing.
10:05 p.m. – We see the dinner guests in attendance, as cocktail hour has begun. The chefs just served all of the appetizer dishes, so now moving on to the Elimination Challenge immediately and the eight-course dinner.
10:16 p.m. – The dinner party guests have been seated, as the chefs are wrapping up their dishes. Service will start soon for dinner, as Rhoda is freaking out about her dessert.
10:25 p.m. – The chefs have started serving their dinner courses. Things are going decently, but Tom is not happy to have two rice dishes in front of him right now.
