World-famous chef and entrepreneur Wolfgang Puck has posted a touching tribute to his wife, Gelila Assefa Puck, on her 55th birthday.
Puck, 76, took to his Instagram account to celebrate the lady he married in 2007 with his 397,000 followers. The post took the form of a family photograph of Puck, his wife, and their two sons, Oliver Wolfgang, 20, and Alexander, 18, accompanied by a lovely heartfelt caption.

Wolfgang Puck’s beautiful words read, “Happy Birthday my love @gelilapuck
I and our boys are so lucky to have you. Thank you for being the anchor of our lives — steady, strong, and full of love. We’re so grateful for everything you do and the warmth you bring into our world every single day. I love you❤️.”
Austrian-born Wolfgang Puck met Gelila, an Ethiopian designer, at a business dinner in 1997 when she was working as a host at Spago and attempting to get her design career underway.
In 2002, when Gelila moved to New York City, Puck got on a plane to the Big Apple, declared his love for her, and took her back to Los Angeles with him. Since then, the happy couple have never looked back.
About her husband’s trek to New York, Gelila told Harper’s Bazaar in 2007 that, “It was the most powerful thing I’ve ever experienced. I’m lucky to have him in my life.” She also told the publication, “I’m the happiest woman on the planet. I feel like he’s a gift.”
Given the couple’s obvious monumental love for each other, Wolfgang Puck will no doubt be spoiling his wife on her special day — exactly how it should be!
Puck has been married twice previously. His first marriage, to Marie France Trouillot, lasted from 1975 until 1980. His second marriage, to famous interior designer and restaurateur Barbara Lazaroff, lasted from 1983 until 2003 (though they had separated long before that).

Another of Puck’s followers said, “What beautiful family! Happy Birthday!”
A follower called Laura Lewark commented, “Wow, your boys are so big! It’s been so long and somehow, you look younger than when I met you. Happy Birthday! Wolf is lucky to have you. Cheers. – Laura Lewark.”
Someone else offered their congratulations, saying, “Happy birthday Gelila! Sending big love your way! ❤️”
Meanwhile, high profile Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Stuart Linder simply wrote, “Absolutely 💯 Gorgeous Family 👏👏.”
