Skill Drill Challenge

We are down to the final two episodes. For this first Skill Drill Challenge, they are working as a team as spies. They have to solve clues to figure out the recipe they are making. Once all the ingredients are determined, they are to recreate the dish individually. They have 40 minutes to create the dish.

The teams are really struggling with this, as they get the ingredients and have to figure out the numbers for a combination lock. They both get the locks unlocked, so now it’s time to make this dish, which none of them seems to be happy about.

Reza dressed his salad way too early, as he knew how to do it and wanted it done. Manila is worried about cooking potatoes in time. She doesn’t seem to have the right ingredients for her salad. CT is grabbing the wrong protein. Reza doesn’t eat pork, so he’s not trying it after cooking it.

These chefs are very confused, as they aren’t giving the exact recipes. They are trying to guess the ingredients in everything. The time runs out, and time to taste these dishes.

Tasting & Results

The dishes are plated and time for the judges to taste them:

  • Manila – Tiffany said the pork tastes delicious. She is missing the zucchini in the salad, along with nuts and snap peas. The potatoes are undercooked.
  • Beverly – Great cook on pork. Potatoes needed more time. More acid on salad, but she got most of the things in there.
  • Reza – Wrong nuts used. The potatoes are nice and silky. Vinegrette is nice on salad.
  • CT – He has an unfinished salad. The pork is undercooked. The dressing is salty.
  • Val – Everything is smaller on the plate. The pork is nice. Mashed potatoes have flavor, but they are thick.

No results or advantages given, so I guess they all won?

Main Dish Challenge on ‘Worst Cooks in America’

Now we are moving on to the Main Dish Challenge, which has Chef Jeff and Chef Tiffany showing the recruits how to make an elevated protein and luxury dessert. The pressure is on, as we are so close to the finale. The recruits have lots of questions, as they are getting shown how to make these dishes. It all looks so good, but can the recruits recreate these dishes? They have 60 minutes and will have to put some of their own spins on the dishes.

Reza definitely seems to know what he’s talking about in the kitchen, even though he might not. Manila is struggling with oranges. CT is too funny in the kitchen. He’s just a beast, flinging that knife around and hoping for the best. Manila forgot her phyllo dough in the oven, so now it’s burnt and has to restart, but will she have enough time?

The time is going fast, as these recruits are trying to get their dishes finished. CT is overwhelmed and has a lot of things to make, as he is working on the dessert. It needs bourbon, so a shot for CT and some for the dessert!

Tasting & Results

The dishes are complete, and it’s time for the mentors to taste these dishes on “Worst Cooks in America” 2026:

  • Beverley – Great flavor in the puree. Asparagus is perfectly cooked. Lamb is seasoned nicely, but overcooked.
  • CT – His mash is interesting. Carrots cut thinner. Aggressive rub on lamb, but it works. The dessert is not what he asked for, but it’s a nice dessert.
  • Val – Nice cook on the duck. Less cream mixture on top of the dessert.
  • Manila – The orange is good. The cook on duck is good.
  • Reza – The flavors are great. The render on the duck breast is good.

Results – The three chefs heading to the finale are Reza, Beverley, and CT. That means Val and Manila will compete in the Blind Elimination Challenge.

Blind Elimination Challenge

For this challenge, they will have 10 minutes to create a high-end hors d’oeuvre worthy of a secret agent’s approval. The winning dish will move on to the final episode.

This is an intense one, as they are both Red Team members. They are working to get the dishes completed, especially with only 10 minutes to do it. The time runs out, and time for the judges to come back and taste these dishes:

  • Manila – Really lovely, nice bite. The scallop has a nice sear. The sauce is salty, though.
  • Val – The patty is pressed right, but wanted it thinner. Good cook on beef.

Results – The winning dish comes from Manila, which means that Val has been eliminated tonight on “Worst Cooks in America” season 30!

Second Episode Begins

It’s time for the Final 4 to take center stage. The recruits will be competing against their own teammates, as only one member from each team can make the finale. They have 30 minutes to create a composed dish that shows off everything they’ve learned this season. Before they can start, they will work as a team to get through some challenges to get the ingredients they will use for the challenge.

Results – The judges taste the dishes from both these teams on the Bite Club challenge. The Red Team wins, so they get to choose which box they get to use for the Skill Drill Challenge.

Now the recruits have 30 minutes using the ingredients in their box to make the Final 2! We get a look back at all of the recruits and their journey on the show. It’s a good chance to look back as the time runs out and time to taste these dishes!

Tasting & Results on ‘Worst Cooks in America’

The dishes are plated, so time for the mentors to taste them and decide who makes the finale:

  • Reza – A lot of great texture going on. The cook is good, but wanted more cook on the skin. Great flavors.
  • Manila – The skin is crispy on salmon, so show that off. The sauce is incredible. Asparagus is delicious.
  • Beverley – Steak has a good char and nice spice rub. Digging the kale. Potatoes needed help.
  • CT – The sauce is punchy and garlic. Wanted harder char on the steak, everything is super flavorful.

Results – The recruits moving on are Beverley for the Blue Team and Reza for the Blue Team. That means CT and Manila have been eliminated on “Worst Cooks in America” season 30 tonight!

Final Challenge

Jeff and Tiffany meet with the finalists to discuss the final menu. For the final challenge, they will have to create a three-course restaurant-quality meal. The mentors discuss the menu, but they mentor them in how to create the dishes and get everything in order.

The judges for this final challenge will be Judy Joo, Viet Pham, and Justin Sutherland. This will be a blind challenge, so the judges have no clue who is making what dish. The winner will get $25,000 for their charity.

Beverley and Reza are in place, and now they will get started on this three-course meal. Jeff and Tiffany will be by their side to guide them, but they can’t touch or taste a dish. They have 90 minutes to send out their first course. The time runs out, and time to taste the first course:

  • Reza – Love the plating. Great cutting. It has tang and heat, and it’s delicious.
  • Beverley – They loved the char. The smokiness and spice, but they said it is slightly underseasoned. However, showing off some skills.

Entree Time

Time for the second course of the meal, as Reza and Beverley are moving on to the second course. The curry is getting too thick for Reza, so he needs to add more chicken stock. It’s not performing well, so they are worried.

The time is starting to run down, as the recruits are working on plating their dishes. The pressure is on, but the dishes are plated. Now time for the judges to taste:

  • Beverley – It feels rushed, but the meat is cooked perfectly. Love the cabbage.
  • Reza – Very inviting. Loved how they treated the vegetables. The lobster is perfectly cooked, and the curry sauce is balanced. The dish is monotone, though.

Dessert Time

The final dish is the dessert, and the recruits have 30 minutes to plate these dishes. They are both whipping cream, but are nervous about overdoing it. All about presenting a pretty dessert, but the plates are done, and time for tasting:

  • Reza – The fragrance is great. So charming and playful. It’s really nice, and not overwhelmingly sweet. The cream is overwhipped.
  • Beverley – The brulee on top is not crunchy. It is silky, though. They wanted a fruit component.

Results on ‘Worst Cooks in America’ Season 30

The judges are back, and now it’s time for the winner to be announced. The judges give their feedback on all of the dishes to the chefs. After all of the dishes, the winner of “Worst Cooks in America” season 30 is Reza!
