Hallmark star Lori Loughlin is back on Instagram — and she appears to have a new hair color to go with her return.
The “Full House” star made her Instagram comeback Aug. 31, sharing her first post on the platform since 2019.
She Had Some Famous Friends Help Welcome Her Back
Loughlin enlisted some familiar faces from the beloved sitcom to help welcome her back, marking her return with a playful nod to one of the show’s most recognizable lines.
“Wake up San Francisco!” Loughlin captioned the post. “I’m back on IG.”
The actress, 61, appeared to be sporting darker hair with fewer blonde highlights than she has worn in the past.
Her latest look comes months after she made another major change to her hairstyle.
Loughlin stepped out in April with a shoulder-grazing bob, a significant departure from the longer, flowing style she has been known for.
The cut featured caramel highlights and soft curtain bangs swept to the side, giving the actress a noticeably different appearance.

The new hairstyle quickly got attention, with some social media users questioning whether Loughlin’s shorter look was actually her hair or a wig.
Celebrity hairstylist David Robert Naumann eventually weighed in on the speculation.
In the comments of an Instagram post discussing Loughlin’s transformation, one person wrote, “Cute- but it’s a wig.”
Naumann responded directly to the claim, writing, “It’s not a wig 😉 I’d know ❤️.”
Loughlin’s latest Instagram appearance marks a notable return to social media after she deleted her account in the aftermath of the college admissions scandal.
The actress and her husband at the time, designer Mossimo Giannulli, were among the parents charged in the high-profile case involving efforts to get their children admitted to college through a scheme orchestrated by admissions consultant Rick Singer.
Loughlin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. She was sentenced to two months in federal prison and served her sentence in 2020. Giannulli also pleaded guilty and served time in prison.
Since then, Loughlin has continued working in television and film, including a return to the Hallmark Channel. She is set to reprise her role in “When Calls the Heart” for Season 14.
Her Instagram return comes as she continues that next chapter of her career. Rather than addressing her past in her first post back, Loughlin kept things light, choosing instead to celebrate her return with a familiar “Full House” reference.
The actress originally played Rebecca “Becky” Donaldson-Katsopolis on “Full House,” joining the series during its second season. Her character became a major part of the Tanner family’s story and remained with the show through its conclusion.
Loughlin later reprised the role for Netflix’s “Fuller House,” which premiered in 2016 and ran for five seasons.
Now, seven years after deleting her Instagram account, Loughlin is once again sharing pieces of her life with followers. And judging by her first post, she is returning with a fresh look and a little help from her old “Full House” family.
