Ralph Fiennes Seems to Confirm that Cillian Murphy is Lord Voldemort
While answering questions as part of a red carpet interview last week, Fiennes was asked about his thoughts on the upcoming HBO series. At one point, he was asked about who he believes would be the best person for the job.
Rather than simply give his opinion, though, the three-time Academy Award nominee seemed to suggest that HBO has already made a choice on Voldemort’s casting and gave his endorsement for that decision.
He told the interviewer, “I’m told [my shoes] are already filled, aren’t they? I’ve already said, I think Cillian Murphy is very good. Very good choice.”
After being told that nothing had yet been confirmed, the actor looked sheepish before making a joke of the situation and claiming that he has no inside information.
