Back September 1, 1996, Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman made her way into the world. Of course, as her admirers know well, she went on to simply be known as Zendaya, a Disney star, member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, mega-successful actress and ever-rising fashion icon.
Now, the famous figure who has definitely made her name in Hollywood has just turned 30 years old and is celebrating her birthday along with her family and fellow celebrities.
Zendaya’s Mom Posted a Sweet Message for Her Daughter
In order to celebrate the special day, Zendaya’s mom, Claire Stoermer, took to Instagram to share a post that included a photo of the star as a child. In the pic, a young Zendaya can be seen standing in the doorway of a mini log cabin that features greenery at the windows and a fence in the front. The little one can be seen looking at the camera while wearing a cute dress with a tropical print. That’s not to overlook her adorable curly hair!
In the caption of the post, Stoermer sent her beloved daughter a note that showed how much the star means to her adoring parent and gave a glimpse at their relationship away from the spotlight, by writing, “[H]appy 30th birthday to the love and light of my life!! even tho you’re not on socials anymore, and you won’t see this!! we just got off facetime!! 🤪☺️”
Prompting plenty of comments from Stoermer’s followers, one message came from another mother of a major star, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, who wrote, “Happy Birthday beautiful Zendaya ❤️ Hi Claire ♥️🙏🏽”
Zendaya Popped Up Her Own Pic & 30th Birthday Message
While it’s true that Zendaya isn’t the most active celebrity on social media these days as her mom mentioned, it turns out that the star did hop onto Instagram to share her own birthday message with her friends, fans and followers.
“I can’t thank ya’ll enough for making the last year of my twenties so beautiful, I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to, with love as always….here’s to 30!!!!!🥹,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
On top of that, she also shared a photo of herself as a child that’s just as adorable as the one posted by her mom. The smile, the outfit and, again, the curls? All so sweet!
Zendaya’s fans filled her comments with birthday messages, as did her fellow famous figures, including Ice Spice and Willow Smith, as well as Chlöe Bailey, who wrote, “happy birthday queen!! love you sooo much!!!”
Gabrielle Union-Wade also popped in a birthday comment, saying, “Happy Birthday ❤️❤️”
While Jason Momoa left a message, telling Zendaya, “❤️❤️❤️happy birthday Z”
Zendaya’s Husband Tom Holland Is Also 30 As Are These Stars

Along with turning 30 years old, she’s also marked the end of her show “Euphoria” and has been a part of major 2026 movies like “The Drama” and “Dune: Part Three,” as well as “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” which both feature performances by the love of her life, Tom Holland.
On top of that, Zendaya and Holland recently got married, and, as if that wasn’t enough, she helped him celebrate his own 30th birthday back on June 1.
Yes, that means both Zendaya and Holland are 30, as are actresses Florence Pugh, Sophie Turner, Anya Taylor-Joy and Dove Cameron, as well as singers Lorde, Jennie and Normani. The same goes for Timothée Chalamet, Kendall Jenner, Doja Cat, Jimin and Patrick Mahomes, who have all turned the big 3-0.
