‘Jersey Shore’ Star 10 Years Sober & Counting – Inspires Fans

“Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is celebrating ten years of sobriety.

On Christmas Eve, the 43-year-old TV personality took to Instagram to mark the special day. Sorrentino posted a photo of himself holding a cake with his family by his side.

“I’m 10 years Clean & Sober today & yes we celebrate with funfetti cake. The comeback is always greater than the setback,” he captioned the post.

Mike Sorrentino Opens Up About Sobriety

Meanwhile,  The Archangels Centers’ Instagram page also commemorated Sorrentino’s 10-year sobriety by sharing a message from the “Jersey Shore” star himself.

“Ten years ago, I made a decision that changed everything. A decision to stop running, stop numbing, and finally face my life head-on,” Sorrentino wrote. “It wasn’t easy. There were moments I doubted myself, moments I felt broken beyond repair. But one day at a time, I chose recovery, and those days added up.”

The reality star also shared how sobriety changed his life for the better.

“Sobriety gave me my life back. It gave me clarity, purpose, faith, family, and a mission bigger than myself,” he added. “It gave me the ability to turn my darkest chapters into a platform of hope for others who are still struggling.”

Sorrentino continued:

“Today, I celebrate this milestone with gratitude for my support system, my wife and family, my team, and everyone who believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. And I celebrate it by continuing the work, founding the Archangel Centers, and helping others see that recovery is possible and worth fighting for.

If you’re reading this and wondering if change is possible for you, let me be living proof that it is.

One day. One choice. One step at a time. The comeback really is greater than the setback.”

  1. Mike’s recovery has helped me with mine.
I had a real “situation” going on for years, drinking in between breaks at work, hiding my pint of Jack Daniels or Puerto Rican rum in my gym bag.
I believed that “sipping” throughout the day wasn’t a big deal, when in reality it was a “situation” I couldn’t control.
Being a fan of “Jersey Shore” and a huge fan of Mike’s I looked to him for help by following his movement on social media.
    It worked big time!
The only “situation” I have now is how to thank Sorentino, so posting this comment is my “gracias” to Mike.
May God bless him and his family always!
