Snooki Announces Exciting Career News After Cervical Cancer Diagnosis

“Jersey Shore” star Snooki shared exciting career news weeks after revealing her stage 1 cervical cancer diagnosis.

The reality star announced the return of her podcast, “It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey,” after an extended hiatus.

Snooki’s Podcast Returns After Hiatus

Snooki’s podcast has been off the air for some time as the beloved MTV star made her health a priority. However, the official Instagram page for the “It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey” podcast announced its return.

“🚨🚨Don’t freak out! We are getting a much-needed makeover! A New & Improved It’s Happening Podcast is coming your way!” the April 9 announcement read. “We will be back and better than ever before you know it! STAY TUNED for All the Tea & New Release Date!! Please respect our privacy at this time. We love you Crusaders! -Nicole & Joey”

The next day, in a follow-up post, the team shared, “ATTENTION CRUSADERS !!! We are currently under construction, but will be back and better than ever before you know it. A new and improved. It’s Happening Podcast is coming your way. Stay tuned for release date.”

Snooki later took to her own social media to share a behind-the-scenes video of the duo filming podcast promotion.

“NEW PODCAST COMING SOON,” she wrote via TikTok.

While no official date has been revealed as of publication, it appears the best friends will hit streaming platforms soon.

Snooki’s Cancer Battle

The “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star opened up about a health scare earlier this year after her annual wellness visit found abnormalities.

“It’s not easy being a woman, especially when it comes to appointments and going through these uncomfortable appointments and situations,” she began in a video shared via TikTok on Thursday, January 21. “I’ve been having issues with getting abnormal results, precancerous cells in your cervix. I’ve been dealing with this for probably three or four years now, just making sure that there’s nothing that will escalate to cervical cancer.”

She later underwent a cone biopsy after doctors discovered “cancerous cells” in her cervix.

“A little update on my procedure I did a couple of days ago…Everything is fine, guys. Everything is great,” she later shared, encouraging women to stay on top of their appointments.

Polizzi explained that her symptoms included cramping and pressure, adding that next steps would be a hysterectomy.

Earlier this month, she shared a TikTok video hinting that a hysterectomy is in her near future.

“POV trying to get everything done. Working out, travel for work, travel for sports, be a good mom, have alone time, make money, see my friends, get a hysterectomy, stay healthy, go on dates with my husband, bed rot, prepare for apocalypse, stay young, be a boss bitch,” she wrote over a video of her walking on a treadmill.
