World-Famous Cellist HAUSER Cancels 2026 Tour to Prioritize His Health

Croatian cellist Stjepan Hauser, known to his fans as HAUSER, was forced to cancel his remaining 2026 concerts to prioritize his health.

HAUSER, 39, announced to his fans on Tuesday, April 14, in an Instagram post that he’d be taking the rest of the year off to manage a “painful” medical issue.

The revered musician shared a photo of himself in a neck brace while also explaining in his post’s caption why he’ll be focusing on his health going forward.

HAUSER Cancels 2026 Concerts for ‘Health Issue’

“My dear fans, It breaks my heart to share that I have to cancel all my concerts planned for 2026 due to a health issue that requires immediate attention and rest,” HAUSER wrote. “Please know this is a temporary condition, and I am fully committed to recovering.”

“This is not something I ever wanted to write. I was truly looking forward to being back on stage and sharing these moments with you again. So much love, work, and preparation has already gone into these shows, which makes this decision even harder,” he continued. “Following medical advice, I now have to put my health first so l can recover fully and return to music — and to you — as soon as possible.”

HAUSER ended his statement by apologizing to his fans for canceling the rest of this year’s concerts. He also prefaced how disappointed he is that he needs to put his music on the shelf for now.

HAUSER Apologizes to His Fans for 2026 Tour Cancellation

“To everyone who was planning to come and waiting for these concerts, I am deeply sorry. This is just as painful and disappointing for me as it is for you,” the cellist wrote. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding, patience, and continued support. It means more to me than I can express. I look forward to seeing you again very soon.”

According to HAUSER’s official website, there are no upcoming shows scheduled. He was, however, slated to tour throughout India, the Middle East and Europe for the rest of 2026.

HAUSER’s ability to transcend an audience — whether during a live performance or through videos he shares online — has cemented him as a standout instrumentalist of the 21st century.

His innate control over his instrument, as well as musical depth, continues to captivate millions of fans, who, after announcing he’d be canceling the rest of this year’s concerts, wished him a quick recovery so they can see him perform in prime health for years to come.
