Donnie Wahlberg Pays Tribute to a Dear Friend
On Monday, December 15, the actor and New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) musician posted several photos on Instagram of himself and his concert tour manager, Victor Popovic. The post gives a glimpse into their professional and personal relationship, and they appeared to share a close bond. Photos show them posing together and smiling, taking a plane trip together, hanging out on tour, and at a sporting match.
In other photos, the whole band poses together. In the caption, Wahlberg shared his thoughts. “Gonna miss you my guy. A lot. You were always a real friend and a true brother,” he began his message. “I know for certain that you’re in a better place. I know that with all my heart. Doesn’t make it any easier to know that you won’t be here any longer, but it will ease the sorrow until I see you again. Love you Vic. Rest Peacefully.”
Wahlberg ended his post with a proverb, writing, “Matthew 11:28 Proverbs 17:17” and then wished his dear friend a “Happy Eternal Birthday!”
