In the past, Harry Styles has run marathons while using fake names. Now, it looks like he may have taken his athletic anonymity to the next level in an absolutely adorable way.
Indeed, fans have been buzzing about the fact that Styles seems to have run the London Marathon on Sunday, April 26. But wait! If you checked out footage and photos from the event, then you’ll know that the singer wasn’t spotted among the runners.
So why do fans think he participated? Well, plenty of people are speculating that Styles was in diguise and dressed up as Daddy Pig, the father of beloved kids show character, Peppa Pig.

“Peppa Pig’s dad is running the 26.2-mile course to raise awareness and funds for the National Deaf Children’s Society, after his son George’s recent hearing loss diagnosis,” the according to The Daily Mail. “But fans watching the race have begun to speculate that the pig costume could be hiding a global pop star underneath.”
“Harry, 32, is well-known for his passion for running and participated in two marathons last year under pseudonyms, sharing how it enables him to be alone with his thoughts and shed the trappings of fame,” the Mail explains.
“The One Direction star stunned fans last year when he popped up on the streets of Tokyo, taking part in the city marathon,” the Mail pointed out, while adding that “[h]e impressed onlookers when he crossed the finish line with a time of 3:24:07, landing him in very respectable 6,010th place of 26,706 runners.”
Six months after that, the Mail notes that “the ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer scored a new personal best when he ran the Berlin Marathon in under three hours, with a finish time of 2:59:13.”
“And people are now theorising that he could be making his hat-trick with the London Marathon, but by disguising himself as Daddy Pig,” per the Mail.
Fueling the curiosity around Daddy Pig, the Mail explains that “[t]he cartoon character has already followed in Harry’s footsteps by posing for the digital cover of Runner’s World last month, just weeks after the hitmaker appeared on the cover.”
With the buzz making its way onto social media, the Mail notes that “[r]umours are now swirling that the two stars are one and the same, with fans claiming to have recognised Harry’s legs.”
Fans Think Daddy Pig Should Do a ‘Masked Singer Style Reveal’
On the day of the London Marathon, Wales Online reported that “[s]peculation has been growing online that Styles is the one in the [Daddy Pig] costume, and [BBC host Gabby Logan] addressed the rumours ahead of the race as she grilled” the character’s coach and trainer, Joe Wicks, who ran alongside Daddy Pig during the marathon, “on his running partner’s true identity.”
“Listen, Daddy Pig is Daddy Pig,” Wicks said in response. “He is himself, he’s being himself and there are no celebrities here right now.”
“It’s a good rumour and I love that it’s gone around social media like wildfire, hasn’t it?” Wicks added. “Has he got Harry Styles’ legs? I don’t know.”
According to the Mail, fans took to TikTok and X “to theorise about the identity of Daddy Pig,” and were “poking fun at the rumours it was Harry, with some suggesting a ‘Masked Singer style reveal,’ while others [were] showing close-up comparisons of the duo’s legs.”
