Rock band, Shinedown, just reminded us why they ruled the 2000s music scene. The last new music from the band came back in 2022 with the album “Planet Zero,” but the wait is over. They have reactivated and rebranded their Instagram account, and announced a brand-new single, a full album, and a tour that’s basically a “where’s your city?” map for fans across North America, Europe, and the UK. Yep, it’s finally happening.
The excitement started today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, with the release of Shinedown’s first new song in a while, “Safe and Sound.” You can stream it everywhere music is available, from Spotify to Apple Music.
This track sets the tone for their upcoming album, “EI8HT,” which officially drops on May 29, 2026. Vinyl versions will be available, along with plenty of merch for diehard fans, at their official store.
How to Snag Concert Tickets
Shinedown also revealed their next tour, “Dance, Kid, Dance Act II,” and tickets are expected to move fast. North American fans can grab theirs starting Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00am local time. EU and UK fans get their shot the following Friday, February 27, 2026, also at 10:00am local time.
This tour promises a mix of indoor arenas and festival shows, combining fan favorites with new tracks from “EI8HT.” From massive U.S. venues like the Prudential Center in Newark and the Moody Center in Austin to international stops in London, Paris, and Milan, Shinedown is covering a ton of ground. Plus, don’t forget the special Shinedown Lunatic Ball Beach Weekend in Miramar Beach, Florida, from October 23–25, 2026, which requires a separate festival ticket.
